感谢12位嘉宾， 为我们SHBS师生打开多个行业大门！更展示你们作为行业领袖人物的风采！感谢百忙之中与我们共度cas时刻！

当我们将“民意调研”后选出的12行业代表人物的讲座呈现在学生面前时，正如王伟老师说的：有的同学理性选择，有的因为好奇而来，有的是“赶鸭子上架”——老师要求我选三堂课听，所以我来了。

但是，我们宏润博源教师觉得，我们和嘉宾是播种人，播下理想的种子

然后，静待花开。

We feel grateful to the 12 guests for sparing time out of their busy schedules, ushering teachers and students of SHBS in many industries and showing us their expertise as industry leaders during our CAS time.

When we presented to the students the lectures given by the 12 representatives of various industries as a result of students’ survey, as Tony Wang put it, some students chose rationally, some came out of curiosity, and others had no idea --- my teacher asked me to choose three lectures, so I came.

However, the teachers of SHBS believe that the guests are sowing seeds of dreams and then we will be waiting for them to bloom.

【小编：王琼悦整理】  余先生本人对观察商业公司成长,并能在这些公司的成长中起到作用有兴趣，所以，他认为首先要有独立思考和分析能力。  

其次，从事投行，主要任务是决定投资——帮助投资人找到有价值的投资项目，为他们创造更多的财富。而在选择投资方向之前，咨询环节和分析财务状况必不可少。因为作为支配投资基金的人，我们要为自己投资方向的决定负责，在扎实的数学基础和量化数据的能力上还要锻炼社交和沟通能力。如今世界发展迅速，余功浩先生强烈建议大家利用身边的资源——或是报纸、或是人物自传，在世界格局的变化和别人的经历中不断学习，寻找机会，努力顺应时代的变迁和发展需求。

最后，一位同学对应用数学就业前景提出疑问，余先生答道：“如今应用数学就业前景广阔，在结合大数据分析和各种软件的应用，应用数学将在科技、商业、交通等领域得到重视。”

总之——

希望同学们在学习中更了解自己和将来的发展方向，成为更聪明更好的自己！

[Edited by Olivia Wang] Mr. Yu himself is interested in observing the growth of business companies and being able to play a role in the growth of these companies, so he believes that independent thinking and analytical skills should be the first requirement.

Secondly, as an investment banker, his main duty is to decide on investment ——to help investors find valuable investment projects and create more wealth for them.However, consultation and analysis of financial situation are essential steps before the investment decision, because people who dominate the investment fund are responsible for their investment decisions, and they not only need to have solid math foundations and strong abiltiy to quantify data but also need to develop their social and communicative skills. As the world is growing rapidly today, Mr. Yu strongly recommends that we take advantage of the resources around us —— newspapers, or autobiographies of people, learn constantly from changes in world landscape and the experiences of others, look for opportunities and work hard to keep up with the times.

In the end, a student asked about the employment prospects of applied mathematics. Mr. Yu replied : "now the employment prospects of applied mathematics are quite promising. Due to big data analysis and the application of various software, applied mathematics will be valued in science and technology, business, transportation and other fields ."

In conclusion, We hope that by listening to the lecture, students will have a better understanding of themselves and how they are going to develop themselves in the future, and will be their better and  more intelligent selves.

我们常挂嘴边“没时间”，陈先生用行动“挤时间”；我们空闲时看娱乐节目，陈欣学神看新闻访谈；我们休息时间看的是时尚杂志，陈欣学神看学术论文，差距就在这里。

在他看来，学历不只是简历表上的光鲜亮丽，更是在学习过程中发现自我，超越自我。

他曾是上海中学的学生，从刘校长的口中我们得知陈先生早在初高中时期就已经开始工作与实习，同时还担任学生会主席，在上海中学学霸云集之中脱颖而出，成绩一马当先。真是赢在了起跑线上！

而陈欣先生谦说自己主要是靠后天勤奋，而沟通与交流能力离不开当年担任学校学生干部的历练。

工作中，陈欣先生也是经历常人所不能。作为金融业的主干人物，他一次次面对经融危机，接受挑战：1997年亚洲金融风暴；2002年互联网泡沫破裂；2008年次贷危机以及此次疫情所爆发的经济危机。

总结一下，陈欣先生在金融工作中、危机难关中胜出，都与他持续学习，增强自己解决问题能力紧密相关，正所谓

以大危机为大师者，学神终将成大神。

[Edited by Jasmine Li] Mr. Chen has an eye-catching education background and is still working on his PhD at University of Hong Kong.

 We often complain that we don’t have enough time. However, Mr. Chen squeezes bits of time from his busy schedule; while we are watching entertainment programs in our spare time,  Mr. Chen is reading news interviews; while we are reading fashion magazines at leisure time, he is reading academic papers. Thus, the gap between him and us is widened.

 In his view, academic qualifications are not only something used to show off on your resume, but also a process of learning by which we can find and surpass ourselves.

 He was a student of shanghai High school. We learned from Principal Liu liu that Mr.Chen had already started his internship in junior high school, and also served as president of the student union. He was one of the most outstanding ones among all those top students who won at the starting line.

 Mr. Chen owed his success mainly to his hard work rather than innate intelligence, and he thought that his strong communicative skills benefited a lot from the years when he was the president of the students’ union.

 At work, Mr. Chen also sustained what ordinary people couldn’t handle. As the backbone of the financial industry, he faced repeated financial crises, such as the Asian financial storm in 1997, the bursting of the dot-com bubble in 2002 and the sub-prime mortgage crisis in 2008 and the economic crisis that broke out in this pandemic.

 To sum up, Mr. Chen’s successes in handling financial work and crisis are closely related to his constant learning and ability to solve problems. Learn from crises and you will become a master.

【小编：柳润田整理】   伍晨瑛女士告诉我们择业首先基于对生活方式的考察，生活状态决定职业模式。她本人在财务岗位上工作6年初显成绩，却转行到了金融保险业，基于个人对自身的省视，更愿意选择开拓性的工作方式。

其次，要看它的社会价值，比如医生，在新冠疫情中给社会提供的价值无可估量；

最后，择业还要满足个人成长。伍女士觉得保险工作时间有弹性，又不断在扩大学习中，生活中还能游历千山万水，既滋养了生活又有益于工作。

伍女士还与我们谈了保险在金融三驾马车中的位置：“保险是理财规划的一部分”“把保险比喻成足球场中的守门员，比赛中，球接近球网时大家才会注意到守门员，期待他能阻挡对方气势汹汹的进攻。”一份保险一份安全保障。

保险业是新起步的行业，伍女士告诉我们，她的策划、组织和沟通、交流能力的提升归于保险工作的经历。

[Edited by Nebula Liu] Ms. Wu told us that to choose a career we need to first examine our life style because career model is determined by life style. After working in finance for six years, she decided to change to finance and insurance. Her decision was based on her self reflection and her preference to choose a pioneering work style.

 Secondly, it depends on its social value, such as doctors, who have proved to be immeasurably valuable to our society.

Finally, we should choose a career which can lead to personal growth. Ms. Wu feels that engaging in insurance allows her to have more flexible working hours so that she can further her studies and have various experience, thus enriching her life and benefiting her work.

 Ms. Wu also talked to us about the position of insurance in the financial troika :" insurance is part of financial planning; " " she compared insurance to the goalkeeper in the football field. In the game, when the ball is close to the net, everyone will notice the goalkeeper, expecting him to block the other side's aggressive attack ." So invest in insurance, you will profit from the security it brings you.

 Insurance is a sunrise industry. Ms. Wu told us the improvement of her planning, organizing  and communicative skills owed a lot to her experience in the insurance industry.
