Principal Li briefed parents on the school's academic management, student management and school actions during special periods. 全校家长会结束后，由班主任各自组织召开班级家长会，对班级整体学习情况进行总结，由学科老师介绍分析科目学习情况。

After PTC of the whole school was over, homeroom teachers each organized a class meeting and summarized the overall learning situation, with each specific subject analyzed and explained by subject teachers.

最终本次家长会圆满落幕，进一步增进了家校之间的交流、信赖，在家长中取得不错的反响回馈。

The parents' meeting ended successfully, further enhancing the communication and trust between home and school and achieving a good response among parents.

继四月份CAIE、Edexcel考试局相继通知取消上海地区2022年夏季线下考试后，替代的PoE (Portfolio of Evidence)评估方案就成为师生们教学上关注和行动的重点。

Following CAIE and Edexcel examination bureaus in April successively notified the cancellation of the 2022 summer offline examinations in Shanghai, the alternative PoE (Portfolio of Evidence) evaluation plan has become the focus of teachers and students in teaching and action.

CAIE PoE政策要求学校配合收集三份能体现学生真实学科水平的学习证据（如课程作业、试卷等）；而Edexcel PoE 政策要求学校为学生的每门考试科目提交一份符合要求的学习证据（如考试试卷等）。

The CAIE PoE policy requires schools to cooperate in the collection of three copies of learning evidence (such as coursework, test papers, etc.) that reflect the student's true subject level; while the Edexcel PoE policy requires schools to submit one copy of the required learning evidence for each test subject of the student (such as exam papers, etc.).

为配合考试局的评估政策，保证公平公正，学生将参加两大考试局的线上模考。CAIE模考已于5月9日拉开序幕，各门科目的模考时间将持续至20日。同学们正在老师带领下进行紧张有序的复习迎考，即使居家学习仍然毫不松懈。

In line with the examination boards' assessment policies and to ensure fairness, students will be taking online mock exams for both exam boards. The CAIE mock exams has kicked off on 9 May and will run until 20 May for all subjects. Students are revising for the exams under the guidance of their teachers and are not letting up even when studying at home.

5月9日下午，为丰富同学们的线上学习生活，在言语交锋间体会思辨的乐趣，由学生会组织举办，高藤“You can you BB”辩论赛在线“开战”！辩题经同学们前期投票选出，定为“爱情的过程重要还是结果重要”。Tobias、Hades、Leo Liu三位同学持正方观点（“爱情中结果更重要”），Maggie、Leo Xue、Peter三位同学持反方观点（“爱情中过程更重要”）。

On the afternoon of May 9, the Student Council held the "You can you BB" debate competition online to enrich students' online learning life and have fun in presenting reasons and arguments. The topic of the debate was voted by the students earlier, which was "Whether the process of love or the result of love is more important". Tobias, Hades and Leo Liu were in the positive side: "the result of love is more important". Maggie, Leo Xue and Peter were in the negative side: "the process of love is more important".

主持人Jessie宣布完比赛规则后，唇枪舌剑的“火花交锋”一触即发。双方自由辩环节在各自立场上“寸步不让”，Hades同学发出“灵魂一问”——爱情究竟到哪一步才算有结果，而Peter同学马上请正方给出“爱情结晶”的定义，更在最后抓住对方三位辩友对爱情结果说辞的矛盾之处。

After the host Jessie had announced the rules of the game, there began a fierce battle of tongue. In the free debate round, both sides fought every inch of the way. Hades issued a "soul question" - what is the result of love? While Peter immediately asked in reply the positive side to give the definition of "love’s crystallization", and caught the contradiction among three fellow debaters' statements on the result of love.

最后，结合评委投票和“观战”师生在线投票，反方获得本场比赛的胜利。条理清晰、陈述有理有据而文采突出的Maggie同学高票摘得“BB King”桂冠。

Finally, based on the votes of judges and the online viewers including teachers and students, the negative side won the debate. Maggie won the title of "BB King" with high votes for her well-organized, justified and talented performance.

回顾来看，“考试”、“教学”仍是这段时间关注的热点，而“成长”、“成就”是我们一直不变的主题。“停课不停学”、“隔屏不隔爱”，5月劳动的季节里，那些细作耕耘的事儿，一直在继续。

Looking back, "examinations" and "teaching" have remained the hot topics of concern during this period, while "growth" and "achievement" are our constant themes. "Offline classes are suspended but learning continues". "People are separated but love unites ". During the labor season in May, hard work has been going on.
