Anxiety, a common psychological state, seems to have become synonymous with modern society. According to statistics, 7.3% of the world's population, or about one in every 14 people, suffer from anxiety, with severe cases of anxiety disorders. As the saying goes, "worst fears always come true"; this is a psychological effect known in academic circles as ‘Murphy's Law’. In today's SHTCS TALK, Pois and Roisse, students from preparatory grade, took us through the origins, content, life examples, effects, prevention methods and positive meaning of this law.

Murphy's Law originated with an Air Force captain engineer named Edward Murphy, who asserted in an experiment that if we conduct enough experiments, anything that can happen will happen. This statement gradually evolved into this: if something bad is likely to happen, no matter how unlikely it is, it will always happen.

有意思的是，两位同学选取了影视剧《爱情公寓》中的一个片段来说明墨菲定律的具体内容，并邀请不同的老师和同学们分享了自己生活中遇到的“墨菲定律”，比如“现金放在口袋里总会丢”，“原本无人认真听的演讲出错时却总会被发现”。

Interestingly, the two hosts chose a clip from the TV series "iPartment" to illustrate Murphy's Law, and invited several teachers and students to share their own “Murphy's Law” encounters, such as "cash always gets lost in pockets" and "a speech that no one is listening to always gets attention when something is wrong".
