2023年2月14日和15日下午社团时间，宏润博源学校举行了新学期社团宣讲与招新活动。

During the club time on the afternoon of Feb. 14 and 15, SHBS club leaders  gave their recruitment presentations in the auditorium and then held their recruitment fair in the teaching building.  

本学期学校迎来了一些新生，新生社团的加入让我们的社团活动变得更加多彩。

Some new students joined us this semester, and they brought with them new clubs, making our club activities more diversified. 

礼堂中座无虚席，学生们翘首以盼，期待着社团社长们的招新演讲。

The auditorium was packed with students looking forward to the recruitment presentation of club leaders. ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

首先是体育类的一些社团：飞盘社，篮球社，斯巴达社，羽毛球社，舞蹈社等等。体育社团鼓励学生们在社团时间尝试更多不同的体育项目，同学们在这些社团时间有非常多的机会能够体会来自不同国家和文化的运动，相信在平时一点一滴的积累和尝试中，同学们可以更好地发现自我，探索自我。

First of all, they may join some sports clubs such as frisbee Club, basketball club, Spartan club, badminton club, dance club, and so on. The sports clubs encourage students to try more types of sports during their club time, so that they can experience sports from different countries and cultures. It is believed that students can better discover and explore themselves through such activities.

其次是一些语言文化类的社团：圆桌派，配音社，辩论社，棋类社，摄影社等等。作为国际学校的学生，同学们也善于融会贯通，不仅了解西方文化，也同样传承着中华传统文化。棋类社让同学们弘扬中国棋文化；辩论社让同学们提高英语表达能力和逻辑思维能力；配音社让同学们收获口语能力，感受集体配音的魅力；圆桌社鼓励同学们通过积极的交流和探讨，将各种奇思妙想化成语句说出来，写下来。语言文化类社团培养同学们的语言能力。语言能力不仅是让我们能与他人沟通的工具，更是能帮助我们自己理清思路，记录生活的一份必要之物。

Second, they may choose from some clubs focusing on language and culture, such as Round Table Club, Dubbing Club, Debate Club, Chess Club, and Photography Club, etc. As international school students, they need to not only understand western culture but also spread traditional Chinese culture. The Chess Club enables students to promote Chinese chess culture; the Debate Club allows students to improve their English speaking and logical thinking skills; the Dubbing Club enables them to develop speaking skills and enjoy the charm of group dubbing; the Round Table Club encourages students to tell about and write down their ideas through active communication and discussion. Language and culture clubs develop students' language skills, which are not only a tool that allows them to communicate with others, but also are essential to help us clarify our thoughts and record our life.

最后，有许多全新的社团等待同学们的加入。这学期的新社团有心理社，皮趣社，花开富贵社，韩流文化社和自行车社等等。心理社希望能够开设匿名的树洞，帮助同学们缓解心理压力，释放焦虑。在皮趣社，同学们可以体会中国传统文化的美丽，皮影是我国一项传统的文化表现形式，通过皮影和幕布以及灯光，能够呈现出栩栩如生的效果，而皮趣社就是这样结合了民族乐器的演奏，传统故事以及手工制作的一个社团，同学们可以通过社团亲手制作编排一场皮影戏。花开富贵社也是一个帮助同学们放松心情的社团，在社团中同学们能够体会中国的传统茶文化以及礼仪，也能够参与一些小游戏或进行学术研讨。韩流文化社欢迎对韩流感兴趣的同学加入。通过研究韩流文化，不仅对于异国风情能有所了解，也能得到一些放松。这些各式各样的社团活动，帮助同学们在生活学习中得到放松，更能够探索自我，找到属于自己的美丽景色。

Finally, students may also join many brand-new clubs this semester, such as Psychology club, Piqu Club, Rich Flower club, Korean Wave Culture club and cycling club, etc. The psychology club hopes to create anonymous tree holes to help students relieve their mental stress and unleash their anxiety. In Piqu Club, students may enjoy the charm of traditional Chinese culture. Shadow puppets is a traditional form of Chinese culture, which can produce lifelike effects through shadow puppets, curtains and lights. The Piqu Club is a club that combines the performance of folk Musical Instruments, traditional stories and handmade production. Its members can make and arrange a shadow puppet show by themselves. The Rich Flower club is also one that helps students relax. In this club, students may explore the traditional Chinese tea culture and know about its etiquettes, and also join in some games or academic discussions. Students who are interested in Korean Culture are welcome to join the club. By studying the Korean Wave culture, you can not only understand the exotic culture, but also relax yourselves. Various club activities help students not only relax in their leisure time, but also explore themselves and achieve their own excellence.

宣讲结束后的设摊招新活动中，同学们摩拳擦掌，想要更多地了解社团。走廊里课桌上摆放着各色各样的海报，社长也在热情地招呼同学们扫码获得更多社团信息。在欢声笑语中，这个学期的社团招新落下帷幕。希望同学们可以在这学期的社团里体验各种不同的文化，参加喜欢的活动，与兴趣相投的人交流。也希望学校的社团活动可以一年比一年精彩！

Club leaders started to recruit new members for their clubs in the recruitment fair after the presentations. Students were eager to know more about these clubs. Various kinds of club posters lay on the desks placed along the corridor of the teaching building. Club leaders were enthusiastically encouraging students to scan their QR codes for more information about their clubs. The club recruitment for this semester came to an end with students talking and laughing. We hope students will be able to explore different kinds of culture, participate in their favorite activities and interact with others who share the same interests. We also expect that club activities organized by our school will be better and better year by year.
