For the past two weeks, in order to guarantee the safety of the students, the school has limited the external coaches to enter the school, has stopped all outdoor sports, including elite sports, yoga, tennis, taekwondo and so on. Sports team re-arranged the Year 10，Year 11and Year12 students to take the first physical education test of this term-the standing long jump and 800/1000 meters. Among them, Sharon H from Year 10 did so well in the test that she ranked first in her class in both the long jump and running.

Since last week, two girls who are very talented and passionate in football, Chole M and Jane C, have joined the football course in the elective sports class on Mondays and Thursdays. Due to the insufficient number of students, the school does not offer women's football course. The two girls have to train with boys, which is undoubtedly a challenge, but this does not affect their commitment to learn and their hard working.

Students can also use all the sports venues and facilities provided by the school. For example, they will have free time after the prep at night, which is more than an hour. I was very impressed by Rogers Y in Year 11, who was very strict with herself. Like I always said, doing sports doesn’t just exercise our body, we tend to train students' exercise habits, and learn more from the spirits of sports. I hope every Luctonian in the future, whether in prosperity or adversity, will be able to adjust themselves and be positive.

All sports courses will resume normal from next week, and our school basketball team will have the first interschool basketball game of this term. I hope they will perform excellently.
