It is nice to see that students once again back to Lucton, also we welcomed the new joiners to Lucton Community. At the first school day, the spring term sports programmes were introduced to students in detail. Students could make free choices according to their interests.

In regard to Elite Sports programme, equestrian, as the school tradition, is compulsory for all the new joiners for their first term in Lucton. Those who already passed the assessment of equestrian last term, can still continue to improve their horse-riding skills further, or try a new one from rowing, golf, and sailing.

In this past two weeks, students already took twice Elite Sports training session even the weather was cold and wet, and they still fully engaged into it without any excuse. The new joiners who have never touched equestrian were coached one-on-one, and the others went into a further level. In regard to Elective Sports programme, we have added baseball (softball) and ping-pong this term, and I was pleased to see students strongly showed their enthusiasm.

The school teams also kicked off their extra training in the first week. Whilst the school teams are open to the new joiners. There will be an inter-school basketball game coming soon. Hope they can lead the game to start a vibrant term.

I'm looking forward to seeing the improvement of each student either in physical or skills under our professional coaches and teachers.
