It has been an extremely busy but exciting period across the business groups recently. The year 13 group have been working extremely hard to achieve the grades needed to gain their university places. They have all received offers from well-regarded Russell Group UK universities or top universities in North America. The year 12 group recently received their January AS unit 1 results and they were exceptional. Over 65% of students either received an A or B grade and the student’s average grades were 12% higher compared with the grades at other international schools in China. A special mention to Eurus Li who scored one of the highest grades in the country and has worked extremely hard to improve over the last six months. The year 11 group will soon be undertaking their final IGCSE exam and we have seen a drastic improvement in terms of effort levels and the quality of work the students are producing.

We are entering a crucial phase with regards to both the IGCSE and A Level qualifications and is vital that standards remain high. Myself and Ms Du Venage have immensely enjoyed witnessing the progression that students have made this year and we hope that they can all achieve their potential in the subject.
