自从艺术课教学开启“线上”模式，同学们创作的画布也变成了一块块电子屏幕。艺术的创作表达从不拘泥于媒介和形式，可以是画布上的油彩、素描纸上的石膏像，也可以是千变万化的电子笔刷、跳跃的电子动画。

As art classes have been going online, the canvases students use to create their artworks have been transformed into electronic screens. Artistic creation and expression are never confined to media or forms. They can be oil paint on canvas, plaster images on sketch paper; or ever-changing electronic brushes, leaping electronic animations.

艺术老师Dolores借此机会引导、鼓励同学们用电子设备进行创作；通过不同的艺术课类型挖掘同学们在不同专业领域的潜力，探索不同的艺术发展方向。那些对“美”的捕捉与表达，那些大胆的创意与想法，是艺术与电子设备碰撞出的灿烂火花。

Art teacher Dolores took this opportunity to guide and encourage students to create with electronic devices; to explore students' potential in different professional fields and artistic development directions through various types of art classes. The beauty that is captured and expressed, the boldness of creativity and ideas, are the brilliant sparks of the collision between art and electronics.

Let’s take a look at the different types of projects completed by students in SHTCS art classes.

Project 1

电子拼贴 Digital Collage

课程介绍

顾名思义，“电子拼贴”是指将拼贴转移到了屏幕上。因有网络上的海量图片资源作为支持，电子拼贴的创作变得更加自如。电子拼贴同时也是同学们完成艺术作品集的一项必备技能。

同学们在本单元中对此进行了练习：首先做好关键词“conflict”的mind map，然后调研其中的一个分支。

"Electronic collage," as the name suggests, refers to the transfer of collages to the screen. With the support of massive picture resources on the Internet, the creation of electronic collages has become more flexible. It is also an essential skill for students to complete an art portfolio.

Students practised the skill in this unit by first making a mind map of the keyword 'conflict' and then researching one of the branches.

Project 2

动画基础 Animation Foundation

课程介绍

动画及游戏设计是近年来比较受同学们欢迎的专业，动画专业毕业生可以在电影、互联网、动漫、游戏等与之相关的行业工作，就业范围广。

在这一单元，同学们以迪士尼电影人物形象为学习案例，根据自己的兴趣偏好设计了一个完整的人物，然后为它们设计简单的动作，通过电子软件使它们动起来。

Animation and game design are the most popular majors in recent years. Animation graduates can work in related industries such as film, Internet, animation, and games, and have a wide range of employment.

In this unit, students took Disney movie characters as study cases, designed a new character according to their own interests and preferences, and then designed simple movements for them, and made them move through electronic software.

Project 3

电子手绘 Digital Drawing

课程介绍

手绘是发展想法和调研过程中最重要的技能之一。如果作品集调研里只有拼贴，画面的视觉效果将会显得空洞、没有层次，这时就需要手绘及文字来进行补充。另一方面，手绘也是创作者表达内心想法的重要方式，能展现出创作者的绘画水平和审美修养。

这一单元同学们以日本插画师藤田翔的作品为学习示例，将手绘元素分类为人物/动物、物品、场景、字体进行练习，最后用手绘为自己向往的城市做了一份旅行计划图。

Hand-drawing is one of the most important skills in developing ideas and research. If there are only collages in the portfolio research, the visual effect of the picture will appear empty and unstructured, and this is where hand-drawing and text are needed to supplement. On the other hand, hand-drawing is also an important way for creators to express their inner thoughts, showing their levels of painting and aesthetic skills.

In this unit, students took the works of Japanese illustrator Sho Fujita as learning examples, classified the hand-drawing elements into characters/animals, objects, scenes, and fonts for practice, and eventually made a travel plan for the city they yearned for.

Project 4

插画 Illustration

课程介绍

插画是这些年来比较热门的专业，兼具纯艺与平面设计中视觉传达的特点；现代插画师也可谓是高薪又自由的职业。

Dolores老师在课上向同学们介绍了插画专业的就业前景、目前常见的职业类型，然后带领同学们通过分析优秀作品理解插画的基本组成元素，做小练习来熟悉这一创作形式。

通过本单元的学习，同学们为自己所选的诗歌完成了一幅可以呈现其视觉想象的插画作品，借此反映诗歌主题。

Illustration is a relatively popular profession in recent years, which combines the characteristics of pure art and visual communication in graphic design; modern illustrators are considered high-paying and freelance professions.

During the class, teacher Dolores introduced the students to the career prospects of the illustration profession and the common types of careers currently available, and then led them through an analysis of outstanding works to understand the basic components of illustration and to do small exercises to familiarise themselves with this creative form.

Through the study of this unit, students completed an illustration work for their chosen poems that can present their visual imagination and reflect the theme of the poem.

Project 5

速写Sketch

在本单元中，Dolores老师用ipad做范画，演示作画步骤，然后带同学们一起完成速写。

In this unit, teacher Dolores used an ipad to demonstrate the drawing steps and then led students through the sketching process.
