答：我会去伊利诺伊大学香槟分校（UIUC：美国公立常春藤）。因为这所学校在US NEWS排名是美国前50的学校；而且我读的经济专业，我了解到这个学校的商学院是非常不错的，校园整个的环境和氛围也比较舒适。

A: I would go to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC: Public Ivies). It is ranked among the top 50 schools in the United States by US NEWS; and I majored in economics, I learned that the business school of this university is fairly good, and the entire campus environment and atmosphere are relatively comfortable.

答：我从小就打网球，也打过不少比赛，曾经拿过团体比赛的亚军、青少年个人比赛的冠军，等等。我觉得网球在我的申请经历中也发挥了比较重要的作用。

至于学术相关的活动，我在高一就开始做经济方面的商赛和活动，比如市场调研；也自学过一些经济课题。所以我后来就比较明确自己要申请经济和商科方向，最后也拿到了比较满意的申请结果。

A: I have been playing tennis since I was a child and have played a lot of tournaments, winning honors and awards such as the runner-up in a team competition and the champion in a junior individual competition. I think tennis also played a relatively important role in my application process.

As for academic-related activities, I started doing business competitions and activities in economics in my first year of high school; I did a few market researches and studied some economics topics on my own. I was more clear later that I wanted to apply for the economics and business streams and ended up with a satisfactory application result.

答：我做过的调研活动主要有两块。一个是调查酒店，当时去到了上海的丽思卡尔顿酒店，实地调研酒店的运营模式和当前阶段的发展方向。另外一块是对蔬菜批发市场和蔬菜供应链做的调查，主要是对电商、超市、菜市场的渠道价格进行比对和原因分析。

A: There are two main areas of research that I have done. One was a hotel survey. I went to the Ritz-Carlton in Shanghai to study the operation of the hotel and the direction of the current phase of development. The other was a survey done on the wholesale vegetable market and vegetable supply chain, mainly comparing and analysing the reasons for the prices in the channels of e-commerce, supermarkets and vegetable markets.

答：对于美高学生来说各种活动在申请的时候至关重要，但是学术成绩和标化考试限制了我们所能申请的大学的一个上限。所以我会把我的重心放在学业上，课余时间我才会去做一些活动或者竞赛。

A: For US high school students, various activities are crucial when applying, but academic grades and standardized tests put a limit on the sort of colleges we can apply to. So I usually put my focus on the studies, and would do activities or competitions in my spare time.

答：申请过程中写文书真得很重要，一定要多给自己留点时间去想，不要等到临近DDL（截止日期）。而且美本申请的时候不只有一篇大文书，有很多学校会提各种小问题，可能要写一两百字；这些虽然字数不多但也很重要。当时我在老师们的指导帮助下，也是改稿写了好多遍。

A: Writing a good essay is really important in the application process. Be sure to give yourself more time to think about it, and don't wait until the DDL (deadline) is approaching. In addition to one big essay, you may also need to deal with the various small questions asked by some schools, each of which would require another one or two hundred words. Although the word count may not seem large, they also play an important role in your application. I remember revising my manuscript many times with the guidance and help of my teachers.

答：最喜欢的就是经济课。首先，我们的经济课Su老师上课非常认真，讲得也都非常好；然后我本身也对经济感兴趣。

A: My favourite class was economics. Our dedicated economics teacher, Ms. Su, gives really good lectures. And I also had an interest in the subject itself. 

答：我觉得可能是我之前主持过的高藤TALK吧。当时很认真地准备，最后呈现的效果也比较好。

A: Probably the SHTCS TALK I hosted before. I prepared the speech very carefully at that time and received great response from the audience.

A: Men have sorrow and joy; they part or meet again; the moon is bright or dim and she may wax or wane. All good things come to an end. What is important is the memories between us.
