我校将邀请社会各界不同领域优秀人物加入高藤Talk大家庭。他们有创业者，公益人，教授等，与高藤学子同台分享自己的观点与思考。

This year SHTCS will invite outstanding figures in different fields of society to join the SHTCS Talk family. Entrepreneurs, philanthropists, professors will share their expert views and ideas with students of SHTCS.

本期我们邀请的是Carina Schaefer和Farah López del Águila，她们曾经在“全球绿色环保大会”上作主讲人，就“商业可持续发展”和“绿色美”两个主题发表演讲，她们还参加了以“从脱碳到碳中和”为主题的上海商会可持续发展论坛。

This week we invited the founders of the Nude makeup and skincare line Carina Schaefer and Farah Lopez del Aguila. They have spoken at the Go Global Green Conference presenting on the topics of Business Sustainability and Green Beauty. They also participated in the Sing Cham Shanghai Sustainability Forum covering the topic “From Decarbonization to Carbon-neutrality”.

本次演讲，她们分享的主题是“可持续的美妆行业”，旨在呼吁企业和个人担负起减少塑料使用，保护环境的责任。

In this presentation, they shared the theme of "Sustainable Beauty", calling on companies and individuals to take responsibility for reducing plastic use and protecting the environment.

美妆行业在生产、销售、使用的每个环节都对环境造成了极大的压力，甚至引起了空气污染，北极冰川融化，自然灾害等。

The beauty industry has caused great pressure on the environment，and the beauty industry has even contributed to air pollution, Arctic ice melting, and natural disasters.

怎么做才能避免污染环境呢？

What can we do to avoid polluting the environment?

这一领域的变化不仅需要从消费者的角度，也需要从公司的角度进行日常承诺。

A change in this sector requires a daily commitment not just from a consumer perspective but also from a company perspective.

从公司的角度来说，生产的化妆品中减少添加剂，防腐剂和化学药品的使用是非常重要的，包装时可以适当使用塑料制品，但是能够回收利用是一个非常有用的途径。

From the perspective of the company, it is very important to reduce the use of additives, preservatives, and chemicals in the production of cosmetics. Plastic products can be properly used in the packaging, but recycling is still needed.

作为个人，你能控制的是你的购买习惯。你可以检查产品的成分是什么，可以检查一个公司的包装影响了什么，还可以检查该公司是否遵循社会责任战略，在提供正确的产品之外创造影响。

As an individual, what you can control is your buying habits. You can check what the ingredients are of the product, you can check what the packaging impact of a company is, you can check if the company follows a social responsibility strategy to create impact beyond providing the right products.

在公司和个人的双重努力下，一个零废弃物的，可再生资源的，重复使用的，升级改造的崭新的美妆行业就会出现。

With the dual efforts of companies and individuals, a new beauty industry with zero-waste, regenerative sourcing, reuse, and upcycling will emerge.

1.偶像作为自己的榜样，可以让自己更有方向，有助于自己追求更好的生活，带给自己正能量，激励自己前行。

1.As role models, idols can give us more direction, help us pursue a better life, bring us positive energy, and motivate ourselves to move forward.

2.还可以学习到课外知识和新技能，看到自己没有的世界，丰富自己的世界观，优质偶像亦有利于我们形成正确的三观。

2.We can also learn extracurricular knowledge and new skills, experience new things, and enrich our worldview. High-quality idols are also helpful for us to form positive values.

3.人是需要爱与被爱的，爱自己的偶像也是一种生活态度和情趣，偶像甚至可以成为自己的精神寄托，有助于自己追求梦想。

3.People need to love and be loved. Loving one's idol is also a kind of attitude and interest in life. An idol can even become one's spiritual sustenance and help one to pursue one's dreams.
