2022年9月6日和7日下午的社团时间，宏润博源举行了新学期社团宣讲与招新活动。

The club time on the afternoon of Sept. 6 and 7 saw the promotional session for new clubs of this semester and their recruitment of new members. 

下午四点，礼堂中坐无虚席。招新宣讲正在如火如荼地进行着，现场气氛十分热烈。社长们轮番上台，想尽办法为自己的社团摇旗呐喊。宣讲结束后，社团社长们还在教学楼里设摊招新，与所有想要加入的新人进行面对面交流。

By 4 pm, the auditorium was already crowded with teachers and students. The promotional session was going on in a lively atmosphere. The club leaders stepped onto the stage one by one, and did all they could to win support for their own clubs. After they all finished their promotional speeches, they set up booths in the teaching building to recruit new members by talking face to face with those who wanted to join their clubs.

本学期有近30个社团上台进行招新宣讲。较上学期相比，有以下三个突出的特点：

This semester, nearly 30 club leaders spoke on the stage to promote their clubs. Compared with last semester, we have found 3 striking features:

优质社团的传承和发扬。

The continuance and development of traditional excellent clubs.

运动类社团和创意类社团明显增多。

The increase of sport-related and creativity-related clubs.

公益类社团内容持续升级。

The development of pro bono clubs.

舞蹈社、配音社、摄影社、中国语言与文化研究社、击剑社、文创社、生活研究所等优质老牌社团继续传承并发扬他们的优良传统。自信满满的社长们依次上台宣讲，落落大方地为社团 “招兵买马”。从社长们对新学期社团活动的规划中可以看出，这些优质的社团在不断地进行自我升级和优化。例如，原本的摄影社升级优化成为注重前期拍摄的“摄影摄像社”和负责后期制作的“年册社”。蔡社长在宣讲中播放了自己拍摄和配音的短视频，还有自己拍摄的摄影作品。视频生动有趣，作品充满艺术感染力，大家被深深吸引。这些老牌优质社团的社长们有着极强的领导力和开拓力，十分令人敬佩。

Those time-honored excellent clubs, such as Dance Club, Dubbing Club, Photography Club, Chinese Language and Culture Research Society, Round Table Club, Life Lab Club etc., continue to pass on and carry forward their good traditions. Club leaders spoke one by one on the stage confidently and graciously to recruit new members for their clubs. Judging by their plans for this semester, we could see these excellent clubs keep upgrading and improving themselves. The previous Photography Club was upgraded into two clubs: Photography & Video Shooting Club and Yearbook Club, which focuses more on post production. Hanxiao Cai, its leader, played some video clips he shot and dubbed by himself, as well as his own photography works. Everyone was deeply impressed by his vivid videos and attractive photos. We found these leaders’ strong leadership skills and pioneering spirit very admirable.

学校不仅重视同学们在学校的学业表现，同时也非常重视同学们德智体美劳的全面发展，尤其是身体素质的锻炼。今年的体育类社团，在上学期的足球社、击剑社、羽毛球社和斯巴达社的基础上，又增加了飞盘社和篮球社等。这些运动类社团都是由大家公认的运动健将们精心组织和建办起来的，大家都充满了期待。

The school values not only students' academic performance in school, but also their all-round development, especially physical exercise. In addition to the popular sports clubs last semester, such as Soccer, Fencing, Badminton and Spartan Clubs, this year, Frisbee and Basketball clubs were also established. These sports clubs have been established and organized by the popular athletes of our school, so all their fans are full of anticipation for the club activities. 

创意类社团也毫不示弱：李同学、魏同学和杨同学为我们带来的clouDsun社团，不仅是一个文创产品设计社，更是一个大家可以展示自己创意制作的好地方。同学们将有机会跟着社长们一起设计文具潮玩、手幅、明信片等产品。在音乐方面，除了独立写词作曲的说唱社QwQ和Boomwhacker社团外，新生沈同学还自发创办了音乐社，鼓励大家聚集在一起弹琴、玩音乐。新鲜血液的到来让同学们很是兴奋与期待。此外，金同学和陆同学更是向大家展示了舞蹈社的魅力，从一张张精彩绝伦的舞台照片中不难看出，学校的舞者们不仅功底深厚，还对舞蹈有着巨大的热爱。如此多的优质社团让同学们应接不暇，犯起了选择困难症。

Creativity-related clubs also demonstrated their strengths: Charlotte, Alice and Felicity presented their ClouDsun club, which is not only a cultural and creative club focusing on product designing but also a good occasion for everyone to show their creative works. Students will have the opportunity to work with their leaders to design products such as stationeries, fashion toys, hand banners, and postcards. When it comes to music-related clubs, in addition to Boomwhacker and QwQ, a rap club that composes songs independently, freshman Wilson has also created a music club, which encourages students to play instruments together. Besides, Nicole and Peggy also presented to us the charm of their dance club. From their brilliant photos taken when dancing on the stage, it is not difficult to see that the dancers of the school are not only highly skilled, but also have a great passion for dance. Students were overwhelmed by so many good clubs that they found it very difficult to decide which one to choose.

原本学校的环保行动派是一个独立于社团之外的行动组织，由不同的学生负责学校的旧衣物、牛奶盒等物品的回收工作。为了进一步推进环保事业，增强环保影响力，徐同学继续建设运营Genesis公益社。公益社目前主要与校外一些公益组织合作，为社员提供教学与指引，锻炼同学们辩证思考、发掘社会痛点的能力，也为小组或个人提供长期的项目咨询，并达成真正可执行、可落地的项目共创，共同协助联合国倡导的一些公益活动的落地。除此之外也会思考如何发现、主导并落实身边的公益项目。

The previous Environmental Activists Group was an organization which didn’t belong to any club and took action independently. Its different members were responsible for recycling clothes, milk cartons and other items collected on campus. In order to further promote environmental protection and amplify its influence on people, Sean Xu kept developing and operating the Genesis Club. At present, members of Genesis mainly worked together with some public welfare organizations outside school to provide instruction and guidance for its members, develop their critical thinking skills, and also their ability to find out problems in our society, provide long-term project consultation for groups or individuals, and help carry out some public welfare activities advocated by the UN. Besides, they will also think about how to discover, lead and implement public welfare projects around us.
