9月19日，宏润博源学校举行了紧张刺激的运水挑战赛。在这样一个阳光明媚、气候适宜的下午，大家抓住了夏天的尾巴，尽情感受“玩水”带来的快乐与清凉。

On Sept.19, SHBS held an exciting water challenge game. On such a sunny afternoon, everyone seized the end of summer and had fun and enjoyed the coolness brought by the game to the fullest.

“运水”，顾名思义，需要大家完成“水的运输”。这是一项考验团队默契、培养团队精神的游戏。游戏的规则相对简单，一支队伍有三棒接力：第一棒的三位同学需要使用毛巾从比赛初始位置的水桶中汲取水分，在指压板上行走一定的距离后将毛巾中的水拧入第一个终点；第二棒的两位同学将从这个水桶中用带有孔洞的杯子盛水，继续在指压板上前进一段距离，把水运送到下一个终点；最终棒则安排了四位同学，他们需要用U型半管进行接龙，将前面同学运过来的水一点一点流过管道，最终运输到终点的量杯里。

“Carrying water”, as the name implies, requires players to complete the transportation of water. This game aims to foster teamwork spirit. The competition for each team is made up of three divs and rules are as follows: In the first div, 3 players walk on the specified spiked plastic boards and carry water from bucket No.1 at the starting line to bucket No. 2 with towels provided for each of them; In the second div, 2 players walk on the specified spiked plastic boards and carry water using leaking cups from bucket No. 2 to bucket No. 3; In the last div, 4 players use 4 semicircle pipeline divs to build a channel and direct the water into the measuring cup at the finishing line.

看似简单的规则其实难度十足，前两棒的同学们需要脱鞋踩在指压板上，“痛并前进着”，而最后一棒的同学们则要在近十米距离里反复奔跑，尽可能让管道中的水留下更多。

虽然中秋已过，太阳却不减热情。同学们在阳光的沐浴下一个个摩拳擦掌，蓄势待发。

The seemingly simple rules proved to be quite challenging because in the 1st and 2nd divs, players needed to walk on the spiked plastic boards with their bare feet, which meant that they would have to painfully walk forward and because those who played in the last div would have to run back and forth within about 10 meters so that they could keep as much water as possible in the pipelines.

Although it was past mid-autumn, the sun was still scorching. Basking in the sunlight, each player was ready to compete in the game.

“三、二、一、开始！”随着裁判一声令下，他们迅速进入状态，开始了挑战。

看！第一棒的同学面对指压板的阻碍，即便步履蹒跚，也依旧坚持不懈，他一步一步，慢慢地走向水桶，挤出他手中毛巾所存储的水，他的努力和坚持为这些水增添了许多重量。

"Three, two, one, go!" As soon as the referee gave the order, the players quickly started the game. Look! Despite the pain caused by walking on the spiked plastic boards, players of the 1st div still persevered, even though they staggered on the boards. They walked slowly to the bucket, step by step, and squeezed out the water from the soaked towels. Their efforts and persistence made the small amount of water valuable.

再来看看第二棒的同学，他们不但要面对指压板的考验，还得与漏水的水杯进行时间赛跑。指压板让前进的速度大幅降低，但是他们并没有轻易放弃，为了不让第一棒同学们的努力白费，他们咬着牙，任凭汗水从脸颊流下，依旧稳步向前。

Let's take a look at the players for the second div, who not only faced the challenge posed by spiked boards, but also had to race against time while carrying the leaking cups. The spiked boards greatly slowed them down, but they did not give up easily. In order live up to the efforts put by the first div players, they clenched their teeth and stepped forward steadily despite sweat rolling down their cheeks.

第三棒的同学也很努力。他们井然有序，排好队列，一个一个地，保持着队形，交替向前冲刺。水流在他们的共同协作下，缓缓地流向终点的量杯。

The third div players also worked very hard. In an orderly fashion, they alternately dashed forward and lined up one after another. They worked together to pour the water slowly into the measuring cup at the finishing line.

每一轮经历了15分钟的辛苦奋斗，比赛在大家的欢声笑语中圆满结束。输赢永远不是最重要的事，在这样一场激动人心的比赛中，大家互相亲近，配合默契，团结一心，打破了彼此之间的隔阂，才是这场挑战赛最大的意义。

Each team had a fierce round of competition which lasted 15 minutes. The water game challenge was successfully concluded with students talking and laughing loudly on the playground. In such an exciting game, what matters most is never who wins or loses, but that students become closer to each other, that they become more united by working together and breaking the barriers between them.

比赛结束后，终于迎来了“自由玩水”时间。夕阳中的操场上，同学们尽情享受着青春的活力与美好。水枪、水球、水桶……大家纷纷拿出早已准备好的“武器”，打起了水仗。水从枪口喷涌而出，划出一条条弧线，浇在同学们的脸上、头上、和衣服上，也浇破了同学们彼此之间的陌生与尴尬。大家笑着、闹着，成为了宏润博源校园中一幅动人的图画。

After the competition was over, it was the time for a free water fight. Basking in the setting sun on the playground, teachers and students were having great fun. They fought each other by using their “weapons” which had been prepared for them earlier, such as water balloons, water guns and little buckets. Water gushed from their guns, formed many curves in the air and finally poured onto others’ face, hair and clothes, breaking the ice and embarrassment among them. Everyone was laughing and romping around on the playground, making it a touching picture of SHBS.
