SUIS 活动 | 暖秋户外运动日 Autumn Outdoor Adventure

叶子渐黄，在冬天来临之前，用一场酣畅淋漓的户外运动，为这暖秋盛景点赞，为自己蓄能。

Autumn foliage paves the way to winter and this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some wonderful scenery whilst participating in outdoor physical activity.

11月10日，协和三林校区的学子们，离开校园，用运动和激情点燃了这个秋日。IG段的学生们延续了往年传统，在感受邵嫁古镇风光的同时，完成了8公里皮划艇项目和水质检测，最后在稻田中回归自然与平静；而AL段的学生们，则是在海湾森林公园通过飞盘竞技和真人CS演练挥洒汗水。

On 10th November, the students of SUIS Pudong-Sanlin Campus got away from the campus and lit up this autumn day with sports and passion. The students at IG level continued the tradition of previous years. They completed an 8km kayaking project and water quality test, while experiencing the scenery of Shaojia Ancient Town. They also had a little taste of being a farmer during the harvest season. The students at A Level sweated through frisbee competition and laser Counter Strike practice at the Bay Forest Park.

PART.1

8公里皮划艇

8km Kayaking

在热身过后，同学们两两分组，坐上皮划艇，开始了这可以说是“用生命来感受河流的激荡与太阳的温度” 的8公里。

After warm-ups, students were seperated into group of two and started to kayak through the 8km canal, which can be described as "using their full energy to feel the turbulence of the river and the temperature of the sun."

奋力前行之余，同学们一边欣赏这沿路的古色古香，一边还需要在三个固定点采取水样。以在到达终点后，进行水质检测。

While paddling forward and checking out the ancient town from a different perspective, our students also had to collect water sample from three fixed points and completed the water quality test at the finishing line.

PART.2

挖番薯

Digging out Sweet Potatoes

午餐过后，经过短暂的休整，同学们来到了一片番薯地。是的，拿起铲子就拼命挖，哪里还有人记得早上8公里的酸痛。内心OS：这片番薯地，我承包了。

After lunch, our students went to a farming area, where they started digging for sweet potatoes. With a shovel in hand, none of them felt the tiredness and body ache from the 8km kayaking any more. They only had one thought: I am now the owner of the land.

农机使用观察

Observe the Agricultural Machinery

秋天是属于金色和丰收的，而我们的同学们是幸运的，在第一排观众席见证了这个秋。带上手套，拿起镰刀，动手割下一束又一束的麦秆，然后在专业人员的引导下，使用麦穗剥离机，收获了第一手新鲜麦粒。

Autumn symbolises harvest. We were lucky to witness it first hand. We put on gloves, picked up a sickle, cut bunches of wheat stalks, and then used a grain seperater machine under the guidance of a professional. Eventually we extracted our first fresh wheat kernels.

PART 1

飞盘竞技

Frisbee

在破冰活动之后，真正的竞技就开始了。通过“飞盘投篮”、“飞盘九宫格”等小游戏，同学们渐渐掌握了飞盘的精髓，并用一场组队飞盘竞赛将这场嘉年华推上了高潮。

After a short period of icebreaking activity, the real competition began. Through small games such as "Frisbee Shooting" and "Frisbee Nine Grids", the students gradually mastered the essence of Frisbee and pushed this carnival to a climax with a team Frisbee competition.

这大地流金和青春驰骋，绘成了这个秋天最美的画。

Youth energy and golden leaves are the best combination of this picture.

PART 2

真人CS演练

Laser Counter Strike

穿上防弹服，带上头盔，检查好装备，这一场角逐就正式开始了。在奔跑竞技中，我们看到了队友间的默契，也看到了同学们射击的潜力。

With bulletproof suits, helmets, and gear checked, the race begins. During the laser Counter Strike competition, students demonstrated great teamwork among members and their the potential of becoming future snippers.

不同于往日的文字激辩，在深林中，我们用实战说话，用实力PK。不论在哪里，协和三林的同学们都是全力以赴。

Different from written and oral debates at school, we fought a good fight with physical strength. No matter where they are, the students of SUIS Pudong-Sanlin are always doing their best.
