Seeing us gather in this auditorium joyfully, i feel gratified. Being able to join this commencement with you, I feel even more delighted.
In the past two years, our school has been growing bigger and stronger. We have achieved fruitful results and good social reputation. We couldn’t make it without efforts of our students, support of parents, help of people of all circles, and especially the selfless dedication of our faculty under the lead of Principal Bowen.
Congratulations to all of you on your common achievement.
Most importantly, congratulations to our 2020 graduates: you are about to gradute from school and start your new journey. You are on your way to explore the vast world and find your better self. And you will get out of your parents’s wings to face challenges of academic pressure, cultural difference and life test on your own.
As the Chairman and your friend, I would like to share three points with you.
Firstly， be sure to aim high and care the world.
Be sure to view this rapidly changing world from the perspective of all mankind. Be sure to cherish your precious time. Study hard, and be practical. A better world awaits you to build. The “community with a shared future for mankind”advocated by president Xi Jinping will surely be built by you.
Secondly, be thankful to your parents and remember your Alma mater with gratitude.
There is no other country in the world where parents can devote their whole life to the next generation like Chinese parents. They work very hard and it is not easy.
Be sure to keep healthy and greet your parent regularly to rest their heart.
You spend the best of your time here in SHBS, where you have made great efforts, left footprints and gained success.
Make sure to visit your teachers who accompanied you and our beautiful campus where you left beautiful memories.
Thirdly,be patriotic and inherit the tradition.
Wherever you go, you must love your motherland, remember that you are the descendants of the Yellow Emperor. Uphold the fine tradition of the Chinese nation. Strengthen your natinal and cultural confidence.
Only then can you root your soul and gain the respect from different ethnic groups.
