Part.1

我们又一次迎来了学年的结束。一个学年的周期总是令我着迷激动，正如一些人所说，它与季节息息相关，有的孩子可能会和家人一起回到老家，在农场和田野里畅玩。学校在某些方面与其他的行业不同，我们9月份开学，7月份放假，经过一个暑假又迎来新的学年，这是一种真正的周期轮回，有开头有结尾有前进，而孩子们也逐年逐年长大了。

我也在继续前进，作为深圳国王幼儿园的创始负责人之一的日子也即将结束。我对我在这里付出的一切感到非常自豪，我在这里也有许多的回忆。同时，我也为国王幼儿园的孩子们感到非常自豪，尤其是在新冠疫情的这段期间他们一直在这里。我能结识这么多有趣的家庭也是一种巨大的乐趣。深圳是一个特别的城市，您的技能和远见正在帮助整个城市迈向光明的未来。我很期待未来有时间能够再回到这里，能再次见到你们。请将我的祝福转达给孩子们，祝愿孩子们一切都好，未来可期。我关心他们每一个人的成长，已经迫不及待地想看到他们将来在学业上能够取得什么样的成就了。

We come once more to the end of a school year. The cycle of the school year has always fascinated me, linked, as some argue, to the seasons and from a time when children might go back to their family for the summer to help out around the place, on farms for example. This makes it different from other professions in some ways, and when we consider that a class is new in September, then ready to move on in July the following year, then this cycle has a real pattern of start and finish, a circle and also a moving forward, as the children get older.

I am moving on too, and as my days as one of the Founding Heads of Pre-Prep come to a close, I have much pride in, and many memories of my time here. I am very proud of the children in King's, especially so because they have been here during two pandemic- disrupted years. It has also been a massive pleasure to get to meet so many interesting families too. Shenzhen is a special place and your skills and vision are helping the whole city move forward into a bright future. I am already looking forward to visiting in the future, and I really hope to see you all again. Please wish good luck to your children from me. I care about every single one of them and can't wait to see how much they achieve as they move forward in their education.

在 K11 这一年的学习生活非常精彩，相信对于孩子们来讲，这也是让他们难忘的一段时光。我们想分享我们在一年中作为一个班级所经历的所有关键时刻和有趣的时光，并分享我们的学习历程。 

从学期伊始到结束，我们看到所有孩子在学习和发展方面都取得了巨大的进步。 他们的自信心增强了，与同龄人和成年人之间建立的积极关系令人欣喜。孩子们逐步提高了他们的沟通和语言技能，而且在双语环境中学习让他们有信心在不同情况下自如地使用两种语言。孩子们开始变得独立，并努力解决冲突也是他们在 K11 学习的核心。所有的孩子都要自己穿衣、自己铺床、自己吃早午点和午餐来表其独立性。这些都可以培养他们的自信心和自理能力，使他们对自己的成就感到自豪。 

我们为孩子们提供了各种资源和机会，通过游戏来促进他们的学习和发展。围绕儿童的兴趣进行课程规划是为他们提供最佳教育以满足他们个人需求的关键。看到孩子们玩耍，并在老师和同龄人的支持下，能够用他们已经知道或了解的事情与其他事物建立联系，这是一件令人着迷的事情。同样，我也从孩子们那里学到了很多东西，无论是中文还是一些开放式的想法。 

It has been such a wonderful year teaching in K11 and all children will be missed dearly. We would like to share all the key moments and fun times we have experienced as a class throughout the year and share our learning journey.  

From the start of the term to the end we have seen a tremendous amount of progress from all the children in their learning and development. Their confidence has grown and the positive relationships they have formed with both their peers and adults is lovely to see. The children have developed their communication and language skills and have been learning in a bilingual environment, giving them the confidence to use both languages in different situations. The children’s confidence in becoming independent and trying to resolve their own conflicts has also been at the heart of their learning in K11, where all children show their independence by dressing themselves, making their own beds, serving their own snack and lunches. This allows the children to develop their self-confidence and self-care giving enabling them to be develop pride in their own accomplishments. 

“真的很难选择一个特别重要的时刻，因为有如此多的时刻都很重要，而且每一天都是不同的，也是有意义的。作为一名早教老师，当我亲眼目睹每个孩子在一个对他们来说可能是挑战的领域上取得进步时，这绝对是一个关键时刻。每个孩子都有不同的需求，对于一些孩子来说可能是一小步，对其他人来说可能是非常大的一步。因此，看到 K11 的每一个孩子都以自己的方式发光、取得进步，我真为此感到自豪，这是我工作中最有价值的一部分。”

“It is hard to choose a particular moment which has been key as there have been so many and everyday has been both different and rewarding. As an early year’s teacher, when I witness each child make progress in an area that may have been a challenge for them is definitely a key moment. Each child has different needs and what may be a small step for some children may be a very big step for others. Therefore, seeing each and every child in K11 shine in their own way, making progress and them showing pride in this is one of the most rewarding parts of my job”.
