10月 30号，G4-1班的孩子主办了泰然学校国际部10月的电影日活动。由于当天是万圣节，孩子们舍弃了讨糖的机会，身着整齐的班服为国际部师生带来了一场视觉和文化的盛宴。

On October 30, the children of class g4-1 hosted the movie day in October. Because it was Halloween, the children gave up the chance for trick or treat, and dressed in neat class uniforms, which brought a visual and cultural feast for the teachers and students of the international department.

难忘的电影日

10月30日的电影节圆满结束，是由我们四一班组织并完成的。大家都意犹未尽，纷纷称赞我们。看着同学们一张张喜悦的笑脸，所有的制作，所有的泪水和汗水，都历历在目。

The movie day of October was successfully concluded, which organized and completed by our class, G 4-1. We were all full of praise. When we Looking at all the guests enjoying this movie day, all the workouts, all tears and sweat, were vividly visible.

当老师通知我们这次电影节由我们组织的时候，大家都跃跃欲试。电影节首先要由小组策划来决定，每一个人分工合作，有宣传海报设计、制作和推广、还有电影票的设计、制作和售卖这些流程。  

When the teacher told us that the movie day was organized by us, everyone was eager to try. First of all, all the works for the movie day should be planned and decided by the teams. Which included poster design, produce and promote, as well as the ticket design, production and sale.

最让我难忘的是宣传海报设计的环节，这个环节是由我和Duncan、John、Alan、Carlie、David一起完成。大家选了海报的颜色，有的喜欢金色，有的喜欢浅蓝色，有的喜欢黄色，还有的喜欢紫色。我们进行了投票选择，当意见不统一的时候，Duncan涨红了脸，Carlie一直坚持自己的意见，最后由大家举手表决，来决定海报的颜色。大家积极地去查电影的资料，设计图案，各抒己见直到最后一张精美绝伦的海报出炉了！看着我们成功的果实，我忍不住流下感动的眼泪。我更加懂得了合作的时候要互相包容，互相体谅。共同努力才能把事情做好。

What impressed me most was the poster design, which I worked with Duncan, John, Alan, Carlie and David. We chose the colors of the posters, some liked gold, some liked light blue, some liked yellow, and some liked purple. We had a vote to choose. When there was no consensus, Duncan’s face turned red. Carlie insisted on her opinion. Finally, everyone raised their hands to decide the color of the poster. We did research on the film information, designed patterns, and expressed opinions until the perfect poster came out! Looking at this amazing job which done by us, I couldn't help but shed tears. I have learned more about mutual tolerance and understanding in cooperation. Teamwork makes things better.

最让我激动的是这次的电影节主持人是我，我一次又一次地修改主持台词，照着镜子练习自己的表情，暗暗告诉自己，我一定能成功。为了能做到完美，我每天多次练习背诵台词，每天睁开双眼的第一件事情就是背台词。功夫不负有心人，我终于顺利地完成这次电影节的主持人工作。更让我懂得做事情一定要坚持，有恒心。

The most exciting thing for me was that I was the mc of this movie day. I revised the lines again and again, practiced my expression in front of the mirror, and tell myself that I would succeed. In order to be perfect, I practiced reciting lines many times every day. The first thing I opened my eyes every day was reciting lines. No pay no gain, I made it. When I finally successfully completed the host work of this movie day, which let me learned and understand the importance of perseverance and courage.

最让我们无法预料的事就是电影节当天停电了。同学们有的都留下了难过的眼泪，但是我们并没有放弃。电脑工作员Harriet不断尝试开启电脑，打开电源。售卖食物区的同学们热情地为同学服务，毫不放弃。George和我挺身而出，上台演奏钢琴安抚已入场的师生们。David正在耐心地维持现场秩序，让大家安静的聆听我们演奏。幸运的是又来电了，所有工作人员的情不自禁地高呼起来，并流下了激动的泪水。 

The most unexpected thing we didn't expect was that there was a power cut on the day of the movie day. Some of the students have had tears, but we did not give up. Harriet, a computer worker, kept trying to turn on the computer and turn on the power. The students in the food selling area served the students warmly and never gave up. George and I stepped forward and played the piano to appeased the teachers and students. David was patiently maintaining the discipline of the scene so that everyone could listen to us quietly. Fortunately, power come again. All the staff members couldn't help shouting and shed tears of excitement.
