亲爱的家长们，

本周结束后，我们将迎来春节假期！春节假期从 2 月 6 日开始，2 月 22 日学生返校上课。

假期期间，请您和孩子不要离开深圳。随着春运人流量增大，疫情风险不容忽视。为 了不影响孩子正常返校，请留深过年。 

关于假期作业：考虑这个假期比较短，我们鼓励学生花更多时间与家人一起参与活动，做 自己喜欢的事情，多做一些体育锻炼，而不是花大量时间在功课上。所以作业会以每日阅 读、每日少量练习或者每天做一点的小项目组成。如果有这方面有问题，也欢迎您与孩子 的班主任联系。 

另外，在假期的第二周，预计从 2 月 16 日开始，教育局会需要请师生在教育局防疫平台 进行注册。请大家留意学校信息。您的配合对于孩子如期正常返校非常重要。我们会及时 发布相关的通知和指引。 

本学期我们已经开始努力进行下个学年工作的准备。我们会在返校第一周举行一次全体家长的家长会。预计时间为 2 月 24 日。我们希望和家长们分享更多我们在进行的工作以及对未来的计划和准备。会议将在二楼多功能厅举行。考虑有些家长不能到校，也会开放在线参与。我们会在返校后公布会议代码。请大家关注学校的通知。 

因为疫情难以预计，假期中可能会有临时的紧急信息发送到群内，请各位家长放假时也能 及时查看信息，以免错过重要事项。感谢大家配合！

Dear parents, 

We will start the Spring Festival Holiday on Feb 6, 2021 and school resumes on Feb 22, 2021.  

We ask you to stay in Shenzhen for the holiday as the pandemic may have break-out due to the  flow of big population. If you insist on traveling, there is the risk that you and your children may not be able to come back to school on time once school resumes. 

Regarding homework: Please keep in mind that while teachers may assign homework over the holiday period, it will most likely be in the form of regular reading and short, daily practice  consisting of a few problems. On occasion there may be a project assigned which can be  completed by doing a little bit each day rather than trying to spend large amounts of time over  a short period. Ideally, we want to encourage students to spend time with family, participating  in activities that they enjoy, and getting regular exercise rather than focusing on schoolwork. 

In addition, in the second week of the holiday, starting on Feb 16, the Educational Bureau will  ask parents and staff to register in their system. Please pay close attention to all school  messages. It’s important for us to get your cooperation to finish all of the registration so that it  won’t affect your child’s return to school. We will send out notice and instructions close to the  registration time. 

As we are diligently preparing for the upcoming school year (2021-22), we will hold a parent meeting upon our return – tentatively on February 24 . We will share with you more about  what we are doing and what we plan to do. The meeting will be held in the AV room on the  second floor. The meeting will be held online as well so if you are not able to attend in person  you can join our online session. We will send out the meeting join code when we return from  the holiday.
