CIEP’s second semester is well underway for 2020-21 school year.  Students in both grades are striving to earn good grades as the Grade 11s prepare to apply for university in the fall of 2021, and the Grade 12s finalize their plans for post-secondary education.

加拿大课程部现已顺利进入到本学年度的第二学期啦！12年级学生正步入他们高中生涯的关键阶段，与此同时11年级学生已经开始着手准备大学的秋季申请了。两个年级的学生都在为了取得更好的成绩而努力。

Many of the CIEP Grades 12s have already received multiple offers from prestigious universities in Australia, Hong Kong SAR, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada.   Several students have also received significant scholarships and to date, students overall have been awarded over 1,500,000RMB in total.

12年级学生大多已经收到了来自世界各地包括澳大利亚、中国香港、英国、美国和加拿大等著名大学的多份录取通知书。目前，已有其中四名同学获得了巨额奖学金，总额已超过150万元人民币。

This year, the Ontario Secondary School Literacy test has been waived due to the COVID-19 pandemic conditions in Canada.  As well, in recognition of the challenges presented by the virus, students’ 40-hour volunteer service graduation requirement has been reduced to 20 hours.

今年，受新冠疫情的影响，加拿大已取消了安大略省英语语文测试。另外，学生的40小时社区服务活动现在只要求完成20小时即可。

As the semester progresses, CIEP’s fantastic Student Council will be planning many fun and exciting activities. Furthermore, Oxstand will host its annual Cultural Fair and Science Fair - excellent opportunities for our students to showcase their many talents in these fields!
