每年4月22日是“世界地球日”，这是一项世界性的环境保护活动。

April 22 is the“International Earth Day”, which is a worldwide environmental protection activity.

面对全球气候变暖, 森林面积减少，空气污染，水污染......日益恶化的地球生态环境，我们每个人都有义务用自己的行动来保护我们生存的家园。

In the face of the deteriorating ecological environment of the earth such as global warming, reduction of forest area, air and water pollution etc., each of us has the obligation to take action to protect our homeland.

为了积极响应“世界地球日”的号召，泰然学校二年级的同学们以垃圾分类为切入点开展了保护家园的环保系列活动......

In order to respond to the call of the “International Earth Day”, the Grade 2 students of FIFA launched a series of environmental protection activities to protect their homeland with garbage classification as the starting point.

在艺综课堂，大家分组完成了“垃圾去哪里了？”的DIY 环保手工制作。

In the comprehensive art class, students worked in groups to complete the environmentally friendly  handcrafts “Where is the trash?”

在数学课堂，为了让学生深刻体会数学与我们生活息息相关，老师带领学生来到了深圳湾公园进行现场参观学习。大家分成四组，分别是“厨余”、“可回收”、“其它”和“有害”垃圾四个行动队，他们的任务是在规定时间内找到自己对应的垃圾。同学们迅速地行动起来，不一会儿，大家“收获满满”！ 

In the math class, in order to make the students have a better understanding of the close relations between mathematics and our daily lives, the teacher took the students to Shenzhen Bay Park for on-site visit and learning. Students were divided into four groups with the names of “Kitchen waste”, “recyclable”, “other” and "hazardous waste" ,their task was to find their corresponding garbage within the specified time. The students moved quickly, and after a while, everyone had a “full  harvest”.

小组汇报时同学们大胆地讲述自己的“收获”，并用乐高以“条形统计图”的形式展示了自己的成果。在分享不同垃圾对地球的危害时，孩子们情不自禁地拿出笔和纸写下自己对地球妈妈想说的话。

During the group report meeting, the students talked about their “harvest”and used Lego to show the outcome in “bar graphs”. When sharing their opinions on the harms that different garbage do to the earth, the students couldn't help taking out pens and papers to write down what they wanted to say to Mother Earth.

数学是人类的思考中最高的成就。

Mathematics is the greatest achievement of the human mind.

通过此次课程融合活动，学生不仅掌握了垃圾分类管理的具体操作方法，还在收集数据、整理数据、统计数据、分析数据的过程中提升了自己的综合学习能力！ 

Through this integrated activity, students not only learned the specific methods of garbage classification management, but also improved their comprehensive learning ability in the process of collecting, collating, summarizing and analyzing data!

环保“我”先行，让我们一起行动起来吧！

Environmental protection starts with me ,let’s take action!
