“In our ELA class, students are encouraged to be independent while following a clear set of rules and a class routine that allows for hard work as well as fun.  At FIFA, we believe that our students should always be engaged in their learning.  This is achieved through a balanced variety of strategies that are both teacher and student led.”

 “One aspect of our science lessons that make them relevant and essential to student learning, and differentiates us from other school programs, is that we discuss real problems that society faces, like climate change, pollution, and resource depletion. The future leaders that occupy the classroom are encouraged to develop innovative ways of address these problems.” 


“我们的科学课和生活中的问题息息相关,是我们区别于其他学校的一个方面。在课堂中我们会花时间来讨论社会中面临的很多现实问题,例如气候变化,污染和资源枯竭。于此同时,我们会积极的鼓励学生们,这些未来的领导者们,通过各种创新的方式来解决这些问题。”

“When a flower doesn’t bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower.”  Alexander Den Heijer


“当一朵花不开花时,你要修复它生长的环境,而不仅是花朵。” 亚历山大·登·海耶


This quote is what widely drives the environment of teaching ELA Green Geniuses: the belief that EVERY plant has an inept ability to bloom into an admired flower, but sometimes is unable to because the environment does not cater to the plant’s specific needs.


这句话是推动ELA绿组教学环境的主要因素:人们认为每一棵花苗都可以绽放成绚丽的花朵,但有时却无法做到,因为环境不能满足植物的特定需求。


Because of this understanding, learners are met with empathy that seeks to nurture their environment by diversifying learning so that they can all be catered for and ALL can feel they are in an environment that is suitable for their growth.


基于这样的理解,我们应该带着同理心为学生们创造多样化的更适合他们成长的学习环境。


The goal is for the learners to always know that their potential for growth is seen, heard, and can be nurtured. 


我们目标是让学生们始终知道,他们的成长潜力是可以被看到的,可以被听到并可以得到培养。

 "Here at FIFA we take pride in a student-centered approach to learning. This makes for fun filled science classes! As a teacher it's always rewarding to see your kids not only learning but having fun while doing it.  I think that is what separates FIFA. Go FIFA!"


在FIFA,我们为以学生为中心的学习方法感到自豪。这使充满乐趣的科学课变得有趣!作为一名老师,看到您的不仅学习新知识而且在实践中找到乐趣总是很有意义的。我认为这是将FIFA与众不同的地方。

“ FIFA math classroom is a place for students to become learners and thinkers. We train ourselves to have the persistence and patience to tackle the inevitable and boring topics such as quadratic equations. At the mean time we apply the mathematical concepts learned in class to understand the world around us.”


FIFA数学教室是学生成为学习者和思想家的地方。我们训练自己有耐力和耐心,可以解决不可避免的无聊的话题,例如二次方程式。同时,我们运用在课堂上学到的数学概念来了解我们周围的世界。
