"I’ve been doing BJJ here in Shenzhen for the last 2 years at Invincible MMA. Our team is lead by Black Belt Professor Thyago Garatina. As we prepare our students to become life long learners I think it’s important to lead by example and Jiu Jitsu gives me that opportunity to continue to improve myself both physically and mentally. BJJ provides a friendly team atmosphere and can be for anyone interested in this grappling martial art. Some of my favorite people train BJJ including Mr. Nate and Mr. Michael. Recently our team competed in Beijing at the Abu Dhabi Jiu Jitsu Pro with great results". As the third grade teacher Mr Parker introduced to us.“过去两年我一直在深圳仁者无敌搏击斗俱乐部（以下简称MMA）练习巴西柔术。我们团队由被授予黑带的专业教授 Thyago Garatina 带领。我们以身作则，希望给学生们树立一个不论是身体还是精神力量上都积极向上的好榜样，并且希望以此来教导学生们成为一个终身学习者。更值得一提的是，巴西柔术为训练它的人们带来的不仅仅是身体精神上的好处，更是营造了一个非常友好的团队氛围。我的好朋友Nate校长和幼儿园老师Michael老师也在练习巴西柔术。最近我们的团队在北京参加了阿布扎比柔术的比赛，取得了很好的成绩。”三年级的Parker老师为我们如是介绍道。

Mr Parker attends a Martial Arts club in Shekou where gaining knowledge on how to render an opponent harmless is physical demanding and involves physical fitness, learning to increase problem-solving techniques and developing self-knowledge of their body and mind.

帕克老师参加了蛇口的武术俱乐部，学习并掌握了如何使对手无害，包括身体健康、学习解决问题技巧以及发展对自己身体思想的自我认知。所以三年级的学生们非常喜欢和Parker老师相处。

A large part of the first 4 weeks of Grade 3 has been an emphasis on literacy. We’ve been planting a lot of seeds in our writers’ notebooks and learning about all the different ways we can put our ideas down on paper and bring them to life! We have been learning about something new. We are learning that writers get many of their ideas from their life experiences and because of this their writing is more meaningful to them. They write about things they see, feel, and what they experience. One thing we all have experienced is our name. We each have our own name and it came from somewhere special. Let’s look at a few examples from our class.
