飞天梦不断,你我皆荣耀——记2021年中文沉浸周

“龙游四海,凤舞九天”,毛主席在党的八大二次会议上号召:“我们也要搞人造卫星!”此语一出,无数爱国志士数年月废寝忘食,挑灯钻研奋满腔热血;揣一颗劲跃赤子之心,含一腔忠诚报国之志,唱一曲激昂东方红披荆斩棘奔赴向前,终得腾云翻江动酒泉:“东方红一号”咆哮而上冲云霄!飞天梦起,中国插上了腾飞的翅膀,上天揽月、携星遨游不再是神话,中国神舟系列、中国北斗系统、长征运载火箭一次次成功升空,安全着陆;“天问一号”继创飞天梦新纪元,喜哉!大展神州英明;壮哉!大长华夏威风。


炎黄子孙,佼佼中华,一辈一辈、一代一代传承飞天精神,肩负圆梦之责,探求科学真理,追求科技创新永无止境......

听此激奋人心的航天事迹,夜望淼淼星辰景,心中种下中华飞天梦的还有柏朗思观澜湖学校的莘莘学子们。在今年的中文沉浸周中,孩子们围绕“航天”作为学习主题,以不同学科为切入点,通过各类形式丰富的活动,启迪智慧,筑梦中国心。


立德树人共参与,民族情怀记心中


以中国航天奋斗史为背景,我校第一书记熊老师、青年党员代表冯老师和赵老师以集体讲座为形式,分别为不同学段的同学们讲述了我国航天发展历程,围绕生涯教育,鼓励同学们通过读书以明智,继承和发扬航天精神,志存高远,为未来实现未来的理想不断努力。






绘本《我们的星辰大海》带领我们一年级的小豆丁坐上了时空旅行机:梦回大唐,认识世界上最早的喷射火器——火箭;世界上第一个乘坐宇宙飞船进入太空的动物——宇航狗“莱卡”;看看“嫦娥工程”如何揭开月亮背后的神秘面纱……在一年级万老师、晏老师和纪老师的带领下,以识字、儿童诗阅读等中文学习要点,一颗小小的航天种子在孩子们的心中悄然种下。





在胡老师、黄老师和周老师的指导下,二年级的孩子们则借助丰富多彩的神话故事了解我国人民对宇宙亘古不变的探索精神;通过观看视频、阅读宇航员的事迹,为航天英雄代言;梳理中国航天史的时间轴,自己动手制作空间站模型,展示太空有趣的生活。





三年级的航天之旅则在溢满美食的香气和浪漫的星辰想象中展开:体验“太空种植”、制作“太空美食”、描绘太空星系图……吃饱喝足后,孩子们在王老师、谢老师和李老师的陪伴下一起观摩了古人有关天空中星座的浪漫幻想,在自己的思想页面中插上想象的翅膀,和古人来一场相隔千年的邂逅。






任何伟大的事业都积淀着无数能人志士的心血。感念前辈奉献,树立我辈志气是我们在柏朗思观澜湖学校所坚持的学习态度。结合写作教学,高段的中文老师们将学生基于航天主题的知识性学习进一步提升,立足家国情怀、家乡变化、个人成长等带有鲜明时代色彩的话题,带领孩子们一笔一划地写下了来自一所多元融合背景下的国际化学校的少年之思。


蔡老师和冯老师带领四年级的孩子们用真挚的笔触写下了送给为中国航天事业默默奉献的人们的问候。




姬老师和张老师则带领五六年级的同学合作共学,通过“立足深圳,探索未来城市”为话题展开讨论,思考青少年学生如何为城市发展、国家进步贡献自己的力量。










图书馆团队则在梁老师的带领下设计了“航天寻宝”主题阅读活动。孩子们依据老师提供的阅读线索在丰富的藏书中寻找着来自“太空的讯号”。







全科协作同育人,多元体验促新知


充分挖掘丰富的校内外教学资源,为学生提供更加多元的学习体验,一直是我校教学的孜孜追求。如果说人文学科的学习启迪了孩子们有关航天探梦、立志求学的向往与哲思,那么,理工科及艺体科的协同教学则为同学们开启了实践探索求真知的大门。


在我校数学、物理和化学等理工科教师的指导和VGCC的大力支持下,各年段的同学们动手又动脑,纷纷化身成为“科学家”、“工程师”,通过一次次地实验与反思,了解了各类航天器的工作原理,思考改进方向。





在美术与设计课上,方老师和周老师通过丰富的感官材料带领孩子们将自己对于浩瀚宇宙的想象通过各类平面和立体作品变成现实。





也许,对很多还处于童年和少年的柏朗思学子来说,中国的航天实践经历可能是一个离自身生活相去甚远的话题。但是,通过不断地学习,孩子们能够知道走向火星的“祝融”;会设计出自己的航天器,并通过想象力将其发送到想要探索的星球上;会以小话题切入到对大社会的思辨……今年的中文沉浸周尽管短暂,但我们相信这样一个仰望星空、脚踏实地的中华奋斗梦已经在孩子们心中播种。我们期待它将在知识和岁月的滋养下在孩子们的人生道路中茁壮成长。






新一代的力量,正如晨起的朝阳,冉冉升起,下一个新纪元,我们拭目以待!


Listening to this exciting aerospace story, the dream of flying to the sky in China was planted in the heart of the students from BMH. In Chinese Immersion Week, the students centered on "Aerospace" as the learning theme and through various forms of rich activities, they enlightened their wisdom and built a dream.

Learning & thinking


With the history of China’s aerospace, our school’s first secretary, Ms. Xiong, young party member representatives, Mr. Feng, and Mr. Zhao used collective lectures to tell students of different stages of the development of the country’s aerospace industry. Through the lectures, the students carried forward the spirit of spaceflight and made continuous efforts to realize their ideals in the future.







The picture book, "Our Stars and the Sea", led our P1 students on a space-time travel machine: dreaming back to Tang dynasty and getting to know of the world’s earliest fire-jet weapon-rocket; the world’s first animal to enter space by spacecraft - Aerospace dog "Lycra". Under the leadership of the P1 teachers, students focused on Chinese learning such as literacy and children's poem reading.




Under the guidance of P2 teachers , the children in P2 learned about the Chinese people’s unchanging exploration spirit of the universe with the help of colorful fairy tales. They became space heroes by watching videos and reading the deeds of astronauts. 






The P3 space journey unfolded in the aroma of delicious food and romantic starry imagination: experiencing "space planting", making "space food", and drawing a space galaxy map. Accompanied by their teachers,  they watched the romantic fantasy of the ancients about the constellations in the sky.






In combination with writing teaching, the senior Chinese teachers further enhanced the students' knowledge with learning based on space topics, and led the students to write on topics with distinctive characteristics of the times, such as home country feelings, hometown changes, personal growth, etc.


Ms. Cai and Mr. Feng led P4 students to write greetings to those who have made contributions to the Chinese space industry with sincere brushstrokes.




Ms. Ji and Ms. Zhang led P5 and P6 to study together, discussing the topic of “Based in Shenzhen, Exploring the Future City” and thinking about how young students can contribute to the development of the city and the progress of the country.










The library team designed the "Space Treasure Hunt" theme reading activity under the leadership of Ms.Liang. Based on the reading clues provided by the teacher, the children searched for signals from space in the rich collection of books.






Exploring


If the study of the humanities has inspired the students' yearning and philosophical thinking about space exploration, then the collaborative teaching of science and engineering and art and sports has opened the door for students to practise, explore and seek truth.


Under the guidance of our school’s teachers of science and engineering such as mathematics, physics and chemistry and the strong support of VGCC, students of all ages have used hands and brains, and have become "aerospace scientists" and "engineers" through experiments and reflections. 





In the art and design class, Ms.Fang and Ms. Zhou led the children to turn their imagination of the vast universe into reality through various flat and three-dimensional works through rich sensory materials.





Perhaps, for many BMH students who are still in their childhood and adolescence, China's aerospace experience may be a topic far from their own lives. However, through continuous learning, children can know the "Zhu Rong" to Mars; they can design their own spacecraft and send them to the planet they want to explore through imagination; they can cut into the big society with small topics. This year's Chinese Immersion Week was short, but we believe that such a Chinese dream of striving for a down-to-earth starry sky has been planted in the hearts of children. We look forward to it thriving, under the nourishment of knowledge and years, in the children's future life paths.






The power of the new generation, just like the morning sun, is rising. For what happens in the the next new era, we will have to wait and see!
