“尊敬的家长朋友们，大家好！  

告别五一假期，同学们即将回到温暖而又熟悉的校园。我代表学校全体员工，欢迎同学们的归来，同时感谢您们对我们工作的支持、信任、理解和包容。

本学期，我将带领团队朝着“从规范走向品质，从制度走向文化”这一方向而努力。向规范要质量，以质量促发展为工作基调，在这里请允许我对家校工作有以下几点希望：

首先，积极支持和配合学校，做好安全教育工作。安全责任重于泰山，学校始终把安全教育放在首位。请家长朋友们做好榜样和督导作用，生活中加强对孩子的安全知识教育，如防疫、防火、防溺水、交通、食品等安全教育工作。

其次，协助孩子养成“树立目标，形成反思”的习惯。目标是前进的动力，是一切努力的着力点，是每日付出的意义所在。在朝着目标努力的过程中，养成每日反思的习惯，在反思中不断进步和成长。新学期学校将着力培养学生逐步养成此习惯，希望家校步调一致，共同助力孩子生长。 

最后，家校共同协作，成为助力孩子成长的共同体。新学期，学校将在教育教学质量，行为德育管理等方面提升质量和标准。我们的工作希望得到家长的支持和配合，好的教育需要家校共同协作。家校步调一致，教育才有效果；家校沟通交流，教育才有成果；家校信任支持，教育才有硕果。

“Dear Parents,

After we celebrated the Labour Day, the new semester is about to start. On behalf of all staff of NAS Shenzhen I'd like to welcome our students to return to school and thank you for your trust, understanding, and support as always.

This semester, we will lead the team to work on offering high quality teaching and learning and forming a distinctive school culture. Besides the standardization of our work, we will be focusing on the quality improvement. At this new starting point, I'm sharing with you some expectations for our home-school cooperation.

First of all, we hope the parents can support and cooperate actively with the school in safety education. Safety is our top priority. We expect the parents to be role models and supervisors, and strengthen the education of children's safety in daily life, such as epidemic prevention, fire prevention, drowning prevention, transport safety, food safety, etc.

Secondly, we hope the parents can help children develop the habit of "goal setting and self-reflection". Goals are the driving force for progress, the focus of all efforts, and the meaning of daily efforts. In the process of working towards their goals, the children develop the habit of daily reflection, which helps them to keep making progress and grow. In the new semester, we expect the parents and school to work together to support children to enhance these abilities.

Finally, we hope the parents and the school can support the students' development with joint efforts and efficient cooperation. In the new semester, the school will improve the quality and standards of teaching and learning, behavioural and moral education, etc. We would like to get the support of parents in our work, as a good education requires collaboration between home and school. Education is effective and fruitful only with communication and mutual trust and support between parents and school.
