深圳⇋西藏,这是一场相隔千里的最美邂逅

在深圳龙华区的BMH,在西藏林芝市的察瓦龙乡中心小学,两所学校相隔几千公里,却在我校第一书记熊波的牵线下,从2021年开始了一段奇妙的缘分......

缘起

万里“帮扶”因爱牵


察瓦龙乡中心小学位于西藏林芝市察隅县,是龙华区教育局定点帮扶地区。察瓦龙地理位置偏远,四面环山,交通不便,一些村庄距离学校120多公里,致使周末学生都无法回家。在现有学生中有7名一、二级残疾生需要送教上门,家庭经济收入有限,这些孩子常年忍受病痛的折磨。


BMH家校共育会在听熊书记介绍了察瓦龙中心小学学生的种种困境后,决定将2021年“圣诞园游会”所得部分收入共计15000元,对察瓦龙急需帮扶的残疾学生及家庭困难的部分在校生,进行爱心捐赠。

察瓦龙中心小学党支部收到捐助款项后,第一时间对残疾及困难家庭进行走访,深入了解每个家庭的困难情况及具体需求,随后购置了一批生活必需品、学习用品和残障儿童生活所需的尿不湿及电子耳蜗电池等送到学生家中。

“云端”相会品文化


4月30日是全国藏文书法日,察瓦龙中心小学会举办“首届校园藏文艺术节”。熊书记了解到这一情况后,秉持着深入推进“帮扶”工作,让BMH的孩子了解祖国的多元文化,让西藏的孩子们能看到不同地域、国家的不同文化这一初心,主动与察瓦龙旦增赤列校长商讨两校共构“云课”的可能性。在两校党支部与校长的积极推动下,这场两校三年级孩子的“云端相会”终于在4月29日上午10:10分准时相约。



第一位讲课的是BMH党支部第一书记熊波,她以深入浅出的讲解和精心制作的微课,向孩子展示了熟悉的“井”字中的中华文化。课程分为五个部分:“井”字的前世今生;“井”与中国女性;“井”与中国建筑;“井”与故乡;“井”与“我”。通过课程,不仅让孩子们懂得了“井文化”对中华文明的深远影响,也教育孩子们要做一个说话有条理、做事有顺序,学习有计划的人,养成井井有条规划生活的好习惯。



旦增赤列校长的课主要向孩子们介绍“藏文书法”,察瓦龙中心小学三年级的孩子们身穿美丽的藏服,端坐在课桌前,用自制的“文房四宝”来书写藏文。BMH的孩子们对神奇的藏文充满着好奇,提出了各种各样的问题:藏文中的“井”字怎么写?藏文“吉祥如意”怎么说?藏文书写笔真奇怪!我也想要学藏文......看到两校孩子的云端互动,旦校长表示,要赠送BMH的孩子一套“文房四宝”。






最后,BMH执行校长沃尔博士为大家介绍了英国,他让孩子们在地图上寻找英国、中国、中国西藏,并通过介绍英国的历史、科学家以及名校,让西藏的孩子们了解到不同的国家,截然不同的文明。




在我校,我们一直将“服务”作为我们的核心价值观。致力于服务社会,关心学校社区内外的任何事,对需要帮助的人主动伸出援助之手,这是BMH全体师生和家长都共同践行的信条。


我们关心孩子是否可以拥有卓越的学识,但更在乎在书本之外他们人格品质的培养。善良、富有同情心、关心他人......这些都应该成为每个孩子的立身之本。


几千公里外的西藏,穿着藏服的孩子们,是我们能触碰到的“无穷远方”和“无数人们”,我们将牢记这场最美的邂逅,并继续勇敢坚毅地携手前行。

The story between BMH and Chawalong Central Primary School in Chayu County, Tibet, originated in 2021, thanks to the introduction of Ms. Xiong Bo, the first secretary of our school......


The Beginning of the Story

“Help” from thousands of miles


Chawalong Central Primary School is located in Chayu County, Nyingchi City, Tibet. It is a designated assistance area of Longhua District Education Bureau. Chawalong is located in a remote location, surrounded by mountains and inconvenient transportation. Some villages are more than 120 kilometers away from the school, so that students can not go home on weekends. Among the existing students, there are 7 first and second level disabled students who need educational support to be sent to their homes. In addition, the family income is limited, these children suffer from pain all year round.


When "BMH PTA" got aware of the various plights of the students in Chawalong Central Primary School, then decided to utilize part of the income from the "Christmas Fair" in 2021 to total 15,000 RMB to help those families who are in urgent needs. PTA made caring donation to the disabled students and some students with family difficulties.

After receiving the donation, the Party branch of Chawalong Central Primary School visited the disabled and needy families as soon as possible to gain an in-depth understanding of the difficulties and specific needs of each family. Subsequently, a batch of daily necessities, school supplies, diapers and cochlear batteries for disabled children were purchased and delivered to the students' homes.

Connection continues

sharing culture online


April 30th is the national Tibetan calligraphy day. Chawalong Central Primary School will celebrate their “First Tibetan Language and Art Festival”. In order to strengthen the support for school, help BMH students to understand the multiculturalism of their home country and enable Tibetan students to see different areas and cultures, Ms. Xiong discussed the possibility of combined online lessons of two schools with the Headmaster Danzengchilie in Chawalong. Owing to the active work of the party branch and headmaster of two schools, the online session of two schools across 3 grades was anticipated to hold at 10:10am April 29th.



The first speaker is the BMH party branch first secretary Ms. Xiong. She evaluated the background culture of well(Chinese character“井”).The lesson was divided into 5 parts: the origin and status quo of井; 井and Chinese female; 井 and Chinese architecture; 井and hometown; 井and me. This education taught students not only the profound effects of 井culture to Chinese culture, but also taught them to be an orderly, logical and well-organised person, having good daily habits of making plans like 井.



The Headmaster Danzengchilie introduced Tibetan calligraphy to students in his class. The third grade students in Chawalong Central Primary School wore beautiful Tibetan costumes and sit in front of tables. They used self-made stationery to write Tibetan calligraphy. BMH students were very curious about the magical Tibetan language. They asked various questions: How to write 井in Tibetan language? How to write “wish you all the best” in Tibetan language? The shape of Tibetan language is so special! I want to learn Tibetan language…… After seeing the interaction among students in two schools, the Headmaster Danzengchilie stated he would like to give BMH students “the four stationery treasures of the Chinese study” as a gift.






Finally, BMH Executive Headmaster Dr Wall introduced UK to everyone. He asked students to look for UK, China and Chinese Tibetan on map. Tibetan students understood different nations and cultures via the introduction of the history, scientists, and famous schools in UK.




"Service" is a core value of BMH.We are fully committed to a culture of service both within and outside our school community and will act to make a positive difference for those in need. 


The interaction activity between two schools enabled students in two schools to see a different world and understand different cultures. We believed that the online meeting of BMH and Chawalong will be the most beautiful memory and our connection will constantly continue.
