形象和素養是息息相關的。1970年，菲利普·津巴多（Philip Zimbardo）在斯坦福大學（Stanford）做了一項實驗。實驗表明形象和素養之間有著密切的聯繫。菲利普把參與實驗的學生分為兩組：「囚犯」和「獄卒」。他們分別穿著各自角色的衣服進行角色扮演，一個星期之後，穿著囚犯衣服的「囚犯」們變得沮喪、情緒低落甚至精神崩潰；穿著獄警衣服的「獄警」們變得殘暴、粗魯。這個著名的實驗——「斯坦福監獄實驗」——證明：一個人即使修養再高，在環境的影響下也會改變他們的素養。
Appearance is not separated from mentality. In 1970, a study by Philip Zimbardo in Stanford tells us that they are closely related with each other. He divided university students into two groups: prisoner and jailer. Within a week, students wearing prison clothes became frustrated, emotionally depressed and hysteric. Students wearing jailer uniform became inconsiderate and harsh. The well-known experiment proves that one’s appearance directly impacts on one’s mentality.

標準示範
9月28日，學校向著裝不得體及儀容儀表不符合標準的學生發出了整改通知，並於10月8日返校時對勒令整改的同學進行了檢查。值得欣慰的是，大多數同學都達到了合格標準。
On 28th Sept., teachers issued a ‘correction notice’ to students with inappropriate uniform or having problem in their appearance. On 8th Oct., when students returned to school, we inspected their appearance against the ‘correction notice’. It is encouraging that nearly all of them have corrected their ‘problems’.

Forbidden items
我校一直強調：嚴禁學生攜帶電子產品進入學校。10月8日學生返校時，學生必須將所攜帶的電子產品上交給老師統一保管。
The school has enforced a policy strictly not to allow any electronic product that can go internet. On 8th Oct., students were required to hand in their mobile phones and tablets to teachers.

Check one by one
同時零食等違禁品也需要登記並上交。
Students have to hand in their forbidden items like snack.
這有助於學生戒除網癮，平心靜氣，認真學習。
This policy helps students to quit their addiction to electronic product and concentrate on their study.
