带着孩子一起积极参加学校的开放日及其他各种活动，参观学校的硬性条件和感受整体氛围才能更加充分了解学校的理念，师资及教学情况。每月我们都会为家长和学生们准备多场探校活动，期待您的莅临！

申请要求及方式

深圳丽林维育维多利亚学校接收本地及不同文化背景的学生，不限国籍和户籍。

入学评估及面试

录取参考因素

•        中文及英文沟通技巧（1 至 2 年级申请者必须能流利使用其中一种语言（中文或英文），以建立双语基础。）

•        2 至 8年级申请者的语文（中文及英文的阅读和写作技巧）及数学都将作为录取参考因素

•        其他，如批判性思考及逻辑思维等，以检视申请者能否积极参与我们的学习社群

•        曾就读学校的参考，如维多利亚幼稚园问卷调查、学校成绩表及学校推荐信

面谈之后，学校将作出是否录取的决定，录取决定将在面谈结束后的3-5天内做出，家长会通过邮件收到录取通知书。

School Visits and Events

Joining our open days and some other activities are the best ways to physically feel the overall atmosphere and fully get to know about our school's philosophy and teachers. We have multiple open days every month, looking forward to your visit!

Application

VPA accept local students and students from different cultural backgrounds, regardless of nationality.

Please contact our admission officers to get the pre-registration form, or click on“入学申请”under “加入维校” to fill out the form.

Interview

Factors of consideration for admissions:

• Communication skills in Chinese and English (For Y1-2 applicants, students must demonstrate strength in at least one language (Chinese or English), necessary to build our bilingual foundation.)

•  For Y2-Y8 applications, entrance assessment results of languages (reading and literacy skills in both Chinese and English) and Mathematics 

• Others such as critical thinking, logical response, etc. to see if applicants have the right profile to be active partners in learning who will positively contribute to our learning community 

• Reference from previous school, such as Victoria kindergarten survey form, school reports, school reference letter

After the interview, our school will make an admission decision within 3-5 days.

课程特色

VPA的课程在基础型课程的框架下，结合了探究型课程和拓展型课程。

我们严格按照国家课程标准和深圳市年度课程计划完成教学内容。与此同时，借鉴IB教学的过程和方法，融合二者教育精髓，以项目学习为主，结合学校及区域特色，利用校内外等多方资源，充分挖掘学生自主能动性，强调以解决现实为题为入口，打破学科之间，校园和社会之间的界限，通过主题式跨学科探究，开展深度学习。再根据实际情况及学生需求，以限定性拓展和非限定性拓展两种形式，分别开设人文科技学术课程，健康生活素养，校园社团活动、体育活动、社区实践和服务课程、中国传统文化、正念教育等多项课程。

优质的语言学习是我校的特色之一。我们采用“一师一语言”双班主任制沉浸式双语教学，结合来自哥伦比亚大学的读写计划，有效培养学生自主阅读及写作的能力。

我们鼓励学生创作绘本，创作绘本不光练习了语言和绘画的运用，还增加了学生的自信心和自豪感。

我们还为有需要的学生设立了EAL课程，包含了小组课以及一对一单独授课，为不同程度的学生们提供额外的支持。

除了学科上的学习，我们还非常重视孩子们的心理健康和情绪管理能力，特别设立了心理课和正念冥想，从小培养孩子们正确面对和处理情绪的能力，让他们受益终身。

Course Overview

Our courses are a combination of inquiry-based courses and extended courses within the framework of foundational courses.

We strictly follow the national curriculum standards and Shenzhen annual curriculum plan to complete the teaching content. At the same time, we focus on project-based learning, combine school and regional characteristics, and use multiple resources inside and outside the school, fully tap students 'independent initiative, emphasize solving real-life problems, break the boundaries between disciplines, campus and society, and carry out deep learning through interdisciplinary inquiry. According to students' needs, a number of courses such as humanities, health and wellness, club activities, sports, mindfulness education are set up in two forms: limited or non-limited expansion.

Quality literacy and language learning is one of the key features at VPA. We adopt the immersion bilingual teaching system of "one teacher, one language", combined with the literacy program from Columbia University, to effectively cultivate students' ability to read and write independently.

We also encourage students to draw their own story books. By doing so, students can not only practice their language and drawing ability, but also boost their confidence.

We also have EAL lessons for students who need extra support, the lessons include one-on-one lessons and group lessons for students with different needs.

Students all need to take the course about digital citizens and learn how to use the technologies wisely

In addition to academic learning, we also care about children's mental health and emotional development. We specially set up wellness class and mindfulness meditation to develop children's ability to correctly deal with emotions from an early age, so that they can handle them through their whole lives.

校园环境及配套服务

背靠大南山，出门即是荔林公园，VPA因此享有“山水校园”之名。

我们的户外场地占地2万多平方米，建有足球场、篮球场，以及网球场。

校内除了基础教室还设有一间黑匣子剧场，可容纳百余人，还有一间独具设计感的DEAR（Drop Everything and Read）图书馆，让孩子们可以享受阅读，以及精美的咖啡厅，供全校教职员工在课余时间使用。

Environment

In front of the Da Nan Shan and next to the Lilin Park, VPA has the name of "school of mountains and waters."

Our outdoor field covers more than 20,000 square meters with football, basketball and tennis courts.

In addition to the basic classrooms, our school also has a black box theater, which can accommodate more than 100 people, a unique design of the DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) library for students to enjoy reading, and an exquisite cafe for people to use in their spare time.

小升初:

所有小学生在达到基本要求后可直升本校初中部

初升高:

• 初中毕业生在同等条件下可获全球五十佳IB学校香港沪江维多利亚学校(VSA)优先录取

• 初中毕业后学生以扎实的学业根基和熟练的双语应用，可以在国内外顶尖的IBDP， A-Level，AP，DSE等高中项目课程中快速适应和融入

• 维多利亚(中国)教育集团拟在深圳开办高中部，VPA初中毕业生在达到要求以后可直升VPA高中部

维校毕业生去向包括：

Multiple Pathways

VPA has already prepared multiple pathways for students with different needs.

Primary to Middle:

All students from our VPA primary school can go straight up to middle school after meeting the basic requirements

Middle to High:

• graduates from our middle school will be given priority in admission to VSA;

• or they can attend other high schools with IBDP, A-Level, AP, DSE, etc;

• we are also planning to have our high school in the future.

Universities attended by our graduates：

University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Imperial College London, UCL, LSE, Stanford University, University of Chicago, Duke University, Boston University, NYU, UCBerkeley, USC, NWU, etc.

With the quality education from VPA, students will surely enter the top universities in the world and become outstanding contributors in various fields.
