【深枫高中部】Creative Thinking创新思维课程

The Creative Thinking and Problem-Solving course is one of the core courses we offer here at Shenzhen Maple Leaf International Academy. One of the main focuses of this course is for students to develop their creativity skills. They will get the chance to take risks and explore various possibilities. This course is intended to have students progress through ideas of play, games and opportunities, through teamwork and into concepts of leadership. The theoretical development of these ideas is generally reflective in nature, through shared within the class and with peers. This is not a teacher-led stand-and-deliver course. The vast majority of the course is intended to be student-driven and experiential. Enjoy the opportunity to engage with students in a relaxed and playful way while encouraging them to embrace the experiential opportunities to learn and grow.

创意思维与解决问题课程是深圳市枫叶学校的核心课程之一。本课程的主要重点之一是培养学生的创造力。他们将有机会去冒险,探索各种可能性。本课程旨在让学生通过游戏、游戏和机会的想法,通过团队合作和领导的概念来进步。这些想法的理论发展通常是反思性的,通过在课堂上和同学之间分享。这不是一个由老师主导的课程。课程的绝大部分都是学生驱动和体验式的。享受以轻松和有趣的方式与学生接触的机会,同时鼓励他们拥抱学习和成长的体验机会。

The Grade 10 students in this course have just finished a Do-It-Yourself Vehicle Project.  The goal of this project is for each team to build a vehicle that can travel the farthest distance. There are 5 parts to this project - the planning stage, the construction stage, the in-class presentations, the race, and finally, the reflection.  

这节课的10年级学生刚刚完成了一个DIY的汽车项目。这个项目的目标是每个团队都要建造一辆能够行驶最远距离的汽车。本项目有5个部分——规划阶段,建造阶段,课堂展示,最终比赛,最后进行反思。

During the planning stage, students meet to discuss questions such as what type of vehicle they are going to make? What is it going to look like? What material are they going to need? How much will the material cost?  After getting the teacher's approval, students gather the material and begin constructing their vehicle.  They test their vehicles and are encouraged to make improvements.  

在计划阶段,学生们需要组成队伍讨论问题,比如:要制造什么类型的汽车?它会是什么样子?需要什么材料?这种材料要多少钱? 在得到老师的批准后,学生们收集材料并开始建造他们的汽车。然后测试他们的车辆,并做出相应改进。





When students are satisfied with their creations, they introduce them to the class in the form of an in-class presentation.  Following that comes the most exciting part where each team competes with one another, and which vehicle travels the farthest distance.  

当学生对自己的创作感到满意时,他们就会以课堂展示的形式向全班介绍。接下来是最激动人心的部分,每个团队相互竞争,看哪辆车行驶的距离最远。

At the end of this project, each student reflects upon what they have learned through this project.  They consider all the successes and failures that they have encountered in this learning experience.  By doing so, students would be able to use this experience to help them grow to become a better person.  In summary, the students enjoy this project very much and have learned many skills applicable to life as they move from teenagers to young adults.

在这个项目结束时,每个学生都会反思在过程中学到了什么。学生会考虑在学习过程中遇到的所有成功和失败。通过这样,学生将能够利用这段经历来帮助他们成长为一个更好的人。总之,学生们非常喜欢这个项目,在他们从青少年到青年的过程中,他们学到了很多适用于生活的技能。
