On April 20, our school received a delegation from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Education Association to carry out in-depth integration of Shenzhen and Hong Kong education.

As a representative, Ms. Liang and Dr. Koong introduced our school philosophy and curriculum to the guests. The guests spoke highly of our school. They deeply felt the advantages of the integration of Shenzhen and Hong Kong in international education, and appreciated the happiness and confidence of the students in learning at school.

They expressed that connecting the world's superior educational resources and experience through Hong Kong is the significance of Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation, and VPA is one of the most successful cases!

They also insisted that they will continue to support and promote educational exchanges and cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and make greater contribution to the education of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

In order to promote the professional development of teachers, provide parents with a "through train" to visit VSA in Hong Kong, and enhance the educational integration between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, VPA has organized various learning and visiting activities.

This semester, we have prepared three groups of teacher teams for mutual visits and research activities to provide teachers with multi-channel professional development. The teachers participated in the cutting-edge reading teaching workshop from Columbia University, and went into VSA's classrooms to have an in-depth understanding of teachings and learnings.

On April 21, we organized 40 parents from VPA and Victoria Kindergarten to join us at VSA.

In this tour, parents interacted with VSA teachers and students, visited the school's facilities and campus environment, listened to the teaching philosophy and curriculum, experienced the school's unique activities and courses, and watched the students' assembly.

Their first stop was Victoria Kindergarten in Causeway Bay. There, the students prepared a beautiful exhibition of learning journey, and the student ambassadors were enthusiastic to talk about what they learned at school.

Upon arrival at VSA, the parents were shown around the campus by Dr. Koong. Parents also experienced a class on "Design Thinking". The students explained their creative energy designs, and then instructed the parents to try to draw their own ideas as they did. This hands-on experience and interaction not only gave parents a deeper understanding of the school's educational philosophy and teaching methods, but also provided new ways and perspectives to communicate with students.

The day ended with an inventive student assembly. Parents were impressed by VSA students' expression, creativity, and confidence.

The close and frequent interaction between VSA and VPA has built a more solid bridge for the school partnership between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. After all, both schools have the same roots and are committed to providing students with an international, diverse and quality education to help them navigate in this globalized world.

On April 25, VPA welcomed a return visit from VSA leadership team, along with the leadership team of Munsang College, a traditional prestigious school in Hong Kong.

Dr. Koong explained our school's values and curriculum and showed them around to see the classrooms, STEAM labs, Black Box Theatre, library, football field, basketball court, tennis court, as well as the art gallery and art room.

Educators from Hong Kong also engaged in discussions with the students and witnessed many of the best qualities from IB learner profile.

VPA's elegant campus, diverse curriculum and activities, and students with confidence and open minds impressed the guests from Hong Kong. They were all very proud of us as their sister school in Shenzhen!

Victoria Education Group will continue to promote the integration of Shenzhen and Hong Kong education, and to deepen cooperation with all parties in order to lay a solid foundation for the growth and future of students. We believe that through such exchanges and cooperation, we will build a stronger bridge for the field of education in Shenzhen and Hong Kong and make one plus one greater than two.
