The exchange activities between VSA and VPA has been a very popular topic.
This year, we have organized multiple visits, starting with teacher exchanges aimed at sharing teaching and practical experiences between the two schools. And now, we have expanded to include parent visits, truly establishing a close connection and collaboration between the schools through practical engagement.
Last month, we welcomed a group of parents and students from Victoria, Hong Kong. The students from Hong Kong had the opportunity to step into the classrooms at VPA, attending classes and engaging in learning activities together with the students from Shenzhen. It was a valuable experience of cross-cultural exchange and collaboration.
The third-grade students at VPA also showed their unit learning journeys to the friends from Hong Kong. They presented how they engage in interdisciplinary learning across subjects such as STEAM, music, art, and Chinese and English language studies. Everyone felt proud of the efforts put into building a "mountain and water campus" in Shenzhen that offers such high-quality educational standards for Victoria students.
This week, VPA organized another opportunity for parents from Shenzhen to visit VSA.
This time, they showed us their learning journeys.
The creative projects and confident presentations of the students amazed the parents from Shenzhen. These activities not only strengthened the close connection between the school and parents but also provided students with a broader platform to show their talents. It instilled confidence in parents regarding Victoria's educational philosophy and teaching achievements.
These visit activities not only provided us with valuable opportunities to further understand each other's educational philosophies and teaching methods but also deepened the communication and collaboration between the school and parents. Together, we strive for the educational growth of our children.
We firmly believe that through such visit activities, Victoria has provided students and parents with comprehensive and rich educational resources, making our schools a bridge for educational exchange between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
