10月 30号，G4-1班的孩子主办了泰然学校国际部10月的电影日活动。由于当天是万圣节，孩子们舍弃了讨糖的机会，身着整齐的班服为国际部师生带来了一场视觉和文化的盛宴。

On October 30, the children of class g4-1 hosted the movie day in October. Because it was Halloween, the children gave up the chance for trick or treat, and dressed in neat class uniforms, which brought a visual and cultural feast for the teachers and students of the international department.

万事俱备只欠东风，我们已经做好了宣传海报，票务组做好了门票，就等尊敬的客户们来了。电影日之前，老师跟我们讨论了每个人当天的任务，有snack booth售卖零食，有负责清洁和紧急事件处理，有负责在现场维持秩序。我的任务是Monitor，其实就是跑龙套负责杂事的。

Everything was ready, we have done the publicity posters, ticketing team has made the tickets, waiting for the respected customers to come. Before the movie day, the teacher discussed with us the tasks of each person on the day, which including snack booth team selling snacks, cleaning and emergency handling team, and maintaining discipline team at the scene. My task is monitor,In fact, I'm in charge of the chores.

第一批客人，也就是富有的五年级终于到了。他们很奢侈地在零食部买了许多零食，有爆米花、有可乐、有甜甜圈。然后在我的引领下坐到了自己的座位上。第二批一年级小客人、第三批客人也就是三年级、第四批客人也就是二年级和最后一批K班小客人，他们和五年级一样买完零食后在我们的帮助下纷纷坐在了座位上。

The first group of guests, the richest fifth graders, finally arrived. They bought a lot of snacks, including popcorn, coke and doughnuts. Then they took their seats under my guidance. The second group guests are first graders, the third group of guests, that is, the third graders and the fourth group of guests, that is, the second graders and the last batch of K graders very young guests, they bought snacks like 5th graders, and then sat down in their seats with our help.

有时，现实比小说更小说。也许是上天捉弄人，也许是要我们体验一下乐极生悲，也许是为了让我们更加深刻的记住这个电影节。一个不和谐的电话铃声在老师的口袋中响起，老师接起电话，并与打电话的人交谈。从他们的谈话中我听到“全校停电了！！！”老师让我们再多等五分钟，五分钟后还没有通电的话，那这个电影节就要下星期再办了。时间滴答滴答地过去了，一分钟、两分钟、三分钟、四分钟、五分钟……还是没有通电。又接了一通电话之后，老师遗憾地站在讲台上宣布电影节活动因为停电要推迟到下个星期才可以继续了。全校的学生都呆住了！

Sometimes, reality is more novel than fiction. Maybe it's God playing tricks on people, maybe it's to let us experience the extreme joy makes sorrow, maybe it's to let us remember this movie day more deeply. a harmonious phone called, I heard "the whole school is out of power”.  The teacher asked us to wait five more minutes. If there was no power coming in five minutes, the movie day will be postponed to next week. Time went by, one minute, two minutes, three minutes, four minutes, five minutes Still no power. After second phone called, the teacher stood on the podium regretfully to announced the movie day had to be postponed until next week due to the power cut. All of us was in a daze!

在其他各班同学离开后，全班同学都异常委屈，有的都哭了。那些还算镇定的同学安慰着那些哭着的同学……我们唉声叹气地来到教室。突然，电灯亮起，这意味着通电了。我们飞也似地排队上楼和清洁，在各班返回后开始播放电影……电影节顺利地结束了！这件事让我明白，希望有多大失望就有多大！

After all the other students left, all the G4 students felt aggrieved, some of them even couldn’t help crying. Some clam ones were trying to comfort those crying ones. We came back to our classroom feeling frustrated. Out of a sudden, the lights went on, it meant power was back! So we all rushed back to the auditorium, started cleaning and got ready. When all the students from different classes were back to their seats, we started playing the movie. The movie day finally came to the end. This experience made me understand that hope always came after disappointment!

This movie day is more than a movie for us, which not only practiced us to do things from beginning to end, but also let us understood that the power of unity is infinite. Division of labor and cooperation, everyone do their best, mutual tolerance, mutual understanding, in order to do things well. It also increased the cohesion of the class and enhanced our friendship.
