This year's summer vacation looks very different. We don't have regular homework because we graduated from primary school this term but must adhere to exercise every day, do the housework and learn at least one art or sport training. On the other hand, we students spend at least two hours studying English every day. I learned a lot of useful English skills and strategies from it, which helped me a lot.  Here I am to share with you how I was trained by my homeroom teacher Ms. Li.

今年的暑假看起来很不一样，我们没有固定的作业，因为我们这个学期从小学毕业了。但是我们必须坚持每天锻炼，做家务，至少学习一项艺术或体育运动。另一方面，我们学生每天至少花费两个小时去学习英语。我从中学到了很多有用的英语技巧，这对我的帮助很大，在这里，我要和你们分享我是如何被我的班主任培训的。

Every day we have listening practice in several areas, such as lectures or news, politics and science.

每天我们会听一个演讲或者新闻，涉及的范围包括文化，政治，科学几个领域。

I practice listening in the morning every day. According to the teacher's requirements, the first time is just to silently listen. Whatever I understand or not, I have to listen to the end from the beginning. For the second time, I need to find out what I didn't understand just now, write down the words or phrases in my notebook, pick at least 3-5 words of the English meaning in the dictionary and write a sentence.

我每天是在早晨做听力练习，按照老师的要求我们第一遍是盲听，也就是听懂，听不懂，我们都要从头听到尾。

第二遍我需要把刚才没有听懂的地方找出来，把不会的单词或者短语写在笔记本上，至少写出3-5个，并在字典找出英文的意思和写一个造句。

The third time is silent reading when writing the key content is recorded.

The fourth time is to talk simultaneously with the video, specifically the key content needs to be read several times.

This listening practice process generally takes an hour and a half to complete.  I learned a lot of knowledge by listening carefully.

第三遍 是默读，一边读，一边把重点内容记录下来。第四遍  是视频跟着一起说，尤其重点内容要多读几遍。我每天大约需要半小时完成这个听力练习，通过这个听力练习我学到了很多知识.

This summer vacation is scorching, so I started doing fun dubbing every afternoon when it is hot or when my mom is cooking.

The teacher asked me to complete 2 dubbing tasks every day, and the score should not be less than 85. Any errors in the dubbing have been corrected. Ms. Li's homework comprised culture, grammar, geography, history, phonics and various story exercises for each week.

这个暑假特别热，我每天下午最热的时候或者妈妈做饭的时候我就开始练习趣配音。

老师是这样要求的：每日趣配音要求是每天完成老师布置的作业2个，配音分数不低于85分，配音错误的需要完成订正作业，老师的作业包括文化，地理，历史和拼读以及拼读试的各种练习。

Writing Practices

1. Record some idiomatic English

2. Rewrite the composition according to the composition template sent by the teacher.

3. Watch 1-2 English movies on weekends and write down your comments.

We need to do some handwriting exercises every day. I practice 2 pages every day. I hope my handwriting is getting better and better.

这个假期里，我真的努力去跟着老师提升自己的英文水平，妈妈还是挺满意的，我自己也受益匪浅。老师说我是个聪明的小伙子，她说我未来可以冲击世界前十的大学，我有点不相信，但是我开始为这个目标努力着！

This holiday, I really tried to follow the teacher to improve my English skills. My mother was very happy. I also benefited a lot. The teacher said I was a smart guy. She said I could go to the top ten universities in the world in the future. I didn't believe it, but I started working hard to achieve this goal!
