喜讯!我校PYP-MYP-DP均获IB候选资格:Education for a Better World!

2020年7月30日成为DP候选学校后,8月5日厦门华锐莱普顿学校又成功成为幼小PYP中学MYP候选学校!

至此,从幼儿园到高中的三个项目均成为IB 候选学校,这标志着厦门华锐莱普顿学校倾心打造的IB K12连续统一的国际化学校正式从鹭岛乘风破浪,扬帆起航,踏上IB之旅。



创建于1968年的国际文凭组织(IBO)是经联合国教科文组织注册的一个非盈利性质基金会。

其目标是“培养勤学好问、知识渊博、富有爱心的年轻人,他们通过对多元文化的理解和尊重,为开创更美好、更和平的世界贡献力量”。

目前为止,国际文凭组织为由世界各地学校构成的共同体提供4个高质量并富有挑战性的教育项目

其中,1968年创建了DP项目,1994年创建了MYP项目,1997年创建了PYP项目,2012年创建了CP项目。

这些教育项目为全球3-19岁适龄学子提供从幼儿园到大学预科连贯一体的国际化教育。所有教育项目的目标都是“培养具有国际情怀的人,他们承认人类共有的博爱精神,分担守护地球的责任,帮助开创一个更美好更和平的世界”。

After becoming the candidate school for DP program on July 30th,PYP and MYP of CRS (Chiway Repton School Xiamen) were also approved as Candidacy on Aug 5th. 

So far, three programmes ranging from kindergarten to high school have been approved. This means that the continuum internationalized education at CRS has set sail and embarked on her IB journey.



Founded in 1968,IBO(International Baccalaureate Organization)is a non-profit foundation registered in UNESCO.IB aims to “develop inquiring,knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect”.

Up till now, IB offers four high-quality and challenging educational programmes for a worldwide community of schools. 

Among them,the IB Diploma Programme (DP) was introduced in 1968 ,the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) was founded in 1994,the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) was founded in 1997 and the IB Career -related Programme(CP)was founded in 2012.All these international programmes provide a continuum education for child from age 3-19.

The aim of all IB programmes is to develop internationally minded people who recognize their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet and help to create a better and more peaceful world. IB education fosters a leaner-centered approach to global challenges through inquiry, action and reflection.

△ 学习者培养目标


国际文凭组织(IBO)对于学校申请成为IB学校有着一套严格的规范流程,它分为学校考虑评估阶段申请IB候选学校IB决定候选资格候选学校的试运行阶段IB正式授权阶段

试运行阶段又分为顾问指导阶段、申请正式授权和授权访问审查阶段。

凡有志于获得IB授权的学校均需要满足相应的项目标准与实施要求

自1991年中国大陆开设IB学校以来,目前仅有164所学校获IBO正式授权开设一个或多个IB教育项目(其中PYP项目学校86所,MYP项目学校45所,DP项目113所,CP项目学校2所)。

The authorization process is a challenging journey for the school. It consists of consideration phase, request for candidacy, decision on candidacy by the IB, trial implementation of the programme, and decision on authorization by the IB.

The trial implementation phase is divided into three stages, namely, consultation process,request for authorization and verification visit to the school. Schools interested in obtaining IB authorization will be required to meet programme standards and practices. 

Since the first IB world school authorized in the Chinese Mainland in 1991, until today, there are only 164 schools in the Chinese Mainland currently offering one or more of four IB programmes, among which, PYP is offered by 86 schools, MYP by 45 schools,DP by 113 schools and CP by 2 schools.

成为IB K12一体化学校,连续统一的国际教育将覆盖学生从3岁入园直至大学预科毕业。

从幼儿园至高中,学校在办学使命、培养目标、评估政策、语言政策、学术诚信政策、全纳教育政策、学习方法、教学方法和课程衔接等方面均做到全校一盘棋,有利于学校有的放矢地做好全局规划、顶层设计,师资的科学化调配,有利于教师做好不同项目之间的课程的衔接,促进教师对全体IB项目实施的理解,有利于学生的纵向全面发展。家长不必为了能让孩子接受到连续一体的教育项目而中途增加择校的烦恼。


这些都是提供连续统一IB教育的学校所具有的独特优势。

华锐莱普顿学校将于今年秋季学期正式对PYP项目和MYP项目采用IB教育的课程理念、框架和规范要求对标对项目实施试运行

力争2年内满足国际文凭组织授权要求,连同DP项目一道,获得IB授权,全面实施IB K12(为3-19岁孩子提供的)连续统一的国际化教育。

As an IB continuum candidate school, CRS will provide IB trial implementation for students starting from this September. The school will be benefited from the shared mission statement, aims, assessment policy, language policy, academic honesty policy, inclusive education policy, ATL, ATT, curriculum transition and so on. 

The school will make an overall planning for the whole school curriculum, staff allocation, teaching resources etc. It helps the knowing and understanding of the school programmes and students. It is also helpful for teachers to do a good job in the connection of curriculum between different programmes, to promote teachers' understanding of the implementation of all IB programmes, and to facilitate the vertical and all-round development of students. Learning at CRS in the future, parents and students do not have to worry about the halfway choice of school.

All of the above advantages are unique for a school providing continuum education.

CRS starts PYP and MYP trial implementation this September. These two programmes will abide by the IB standards and practices to meet the requirements of IB education. We strive to be authorized within 2 years as a IB World School in three programmes so that we can offer the continuum education for children from age 3-19.
