Macalester College is a private liberal arts college in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The college has Scottish roots and emphasizes internationalism and multiculturalism.

值得一提的是，在今年的申请中，我们欣喜地看到众多同学选择了文理学院。长久以来，其实大部分中国学生与家长对美国高等教育体系里面最重要的理念——文理学院及博雅教育的理解与认识并不够。在大部分美国人心目中，文理学院往往代表着经典、小规模、高质量的本科教育。许多文理学院的学术声誉往往不亚于哈佛、耶鲁等名校，因而成为很多美国贵族教育子女的首选。例如，美国历史上接受过大学教育的36名总统，其中有21位本科接受的是文理学院教育。
It is worth mentioning that in this year's application, we are pleased to see that more students chose liberal arts colleges. For a long time, most Chinese students and parents did not have the correct understanding of the most important aspect of the American higher education system—liberal arts colleges and liberal arts education. However, in the minds of most Americans, liberal arts colleges tend to represent classic, small-scale, high-quality undergraduate education. Many liberal arts colleges have good academic reputation as that enjoyed by Harvard, Yale and other famous universities, thus making them the first choice for many American upper class families to educate their children. For example, among the 36 presidents who have received university education in the history of the United States, 21 of them received undergraduate education in liberal arts colleges.
“适合自己的大学才是最好的大学”——这是深国预一直追求的升学理念。我们从不把适合自己的学校和适合别人的学校拿来做对比，因为孩子的择校是个性化的。正如深国预的教育关注学生个体的道理一样，考虑大学升学是从学生个体的角度出发的。
"The suitable university is the best university" —— This is the ideal that SIFC has been pursuing. We never compare the school that suits one student with the school that suits another student, because school choice is personalized. Just as SIFC focuses on personalized education, we do college counseling from the perspective of individual students.
深国预追求“全人教育”，培养人格健全、终身幸福的人。名校不是唯一的目标，每一年的升学成果，都是深国预全人教育之下的自然产物。帮助每个孩子找到适合自己的未来，才是“全人教育”题中应有之义。
SIFC advocates Holistic Education; we cultivate students with well-rounded personality and the ability for lifelong happiness. Going to well-known universities is not the only goal. However, the results of university acceptance every year is the natural produce of our holistic education. We believe that to help each child find the suitable future is the real meaning of our Holistic Education.
