9月27日周一，广州暨大港澳子弟学校迎来了开学后首次升旗仪式。ASJ第一届国旗队迈着铿锵有力的步伐，护送国旗，顺利完成出旗、升旗仪式。

The flag-raising ceremony of the Affiliated School of Jinan University for Hong Kong and Macau Students was held on Monday, September 27th. The first national flag team of ASJ marched with sonorous and powerful steps to escort the national flag and successfully raised the national flag.

本次升旗仪式由中学部来自9年级2班的黄铭浠和付楚雯同学任主持人。10年级1班的李菁和黎映彤同学以“庆中秋，迎国庆”为主题，进行了国旗下演讲。

The flag-raising ceremony was presided over by Huang Mingxi and Fu Chuwen, students from Class 2 of Grade 9. Li Wei and Li Yingxuan, students from Class 1 Grade 10, delivered a speech under the theme of "to Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, to Welcome National Day".

敬爱的老师,亲爱的同学们大家好,今天我演讲的主题是

“庆中秋迎国庆”

2021年,光辉岁月弹指一挥间,2021年,中华大地沧桑巨变,金秋送爽丹桂飘香,在这花好月圆的九月,我们又将迎来中秋佳节,又将欣赏到皓月当空的美景。我们在欢度中秋的同时也迎来了新中国成立72周年。更增添了节日喜庆的气氛,处处洋溢着温暖的气息,奏响着和谐的旋律,演绎着动人的画面!经过千百年的历史积淀,其来源被赋予上了神秘的色彩。

“不知天上宫阙,今夕是何年。天上的日子似乎比人间要慢许多,但是不要感叹时光流逝,也不要将时光虚度。每一天本都有它的价值所在,将时光握紧,用分分秒秒来创造充实的时光。或许没有“举杯邀明月,对影成三人。的豪情,但是我们可以对自己说越是圆满,越是美好,明月在心上,快乐长久存。

我们赞美家乡,歌颂祖国,在这欢庆的时刻请不要忘记,我们的职责与使命。自身历史,我们融于其中,牢记历史,分享着过去的兴奋与悲痛;望眼未来,我们会发现,面前的道路更遥远更艰难。作为一名学生,将中华儿女的豪气云龙的传人淡泊溶于自己热血青春,献出自己的智慧和爱,让我们在五星红旗下庄严宣誓:我们将努力奋斗,为了民族的振兴,为了美丽的祖国,我们将竭尽全力,造就成祖国的有用之才！

Good morning principal, teachers, and fellow students.

In the week before last, we had joy in celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival. In the twinkling of an eye, it is already the last day of September. Today, we’re here to celebrate another important day in China, the first of October, the National day. The past seven decades have been extraordinary in the history of the Chinese nation. Gone are the days when we were poor and weak, we have stood up, grown rich, and become strong. Now that the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China is coming, let’s celebrate the big day together at ASJ.

Hard work is the key to China’s success. Looking back over the last century, if we’re lazy, we will take a beating, only hard work enables self-strengthening. As a well-known proverb goes “Time and tide wait for none” Tide doesn’t wait for anyone. In the same manner, time doesn’t wait for anyone. Strong youths lead to a strong nation. To build an even stronger China, it’s important for young people like you and me to work hard, strive for excellence and make every day counts.

The success of China does not come easy. Even if it is not smooth sailing for us in the days ahead, we should never forget our duties and missions and never stop working hard. As we’re celebrating the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China here today, I’d like to invite you to pledge to strive for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with me.

The national flag-raising ceremony embodies an important part of ASJ's patriotic education. ASJ students will firmly establish the sense of national identity.

广州暨大港澳子弟学校ECA课程目前正处于试课阶段

ECA of ASJ has started trial classes from last week.

从各类运动、艺术创作，到大疆机甲大师、STEM（麦高）等，ASJ积极为学生定制多样化的课程，通过尝试，学生将在此阶段找到合适、喜欢的ECA课程，发挥潜力。试课期为9 月 22 日-29 日。

ASJ has customized diversified ECA programmes for students and the courses range from sports, art creation and display to DJI Innovations and STEM. Students will find their suitable and favorite ECA courses through the trial classes and have opportunity to give full play to their potential. The trial period is from 22nd-29th September.

数学竞技比赛

9月23日下午，一场别开生面的数学竞技比赛在体育馆举行。比赛以抢答计分的形式展开，同学们积极参与，踊跃作答，展现了超强的自信心。这是ASJ为参加AMC比赛的同学们精心准备的赛前模拟练习。

On the afternoon of September 23th, a unique mathematical competition was held in the gymnasium of ASJ. The competition was carried out in the form of scoring, and the students quite enjoyed the competition, showing great confidence. This was the simulation exercise carefully prepared by ASJ for students who will participate in the AMC competition.

澳大利亚数学思维挑战活动（AMC）是目前全球最大，历史最悠久的校际数学思维挑战活动之一，ASJ学子踊跃报名参与。在9月25日，我校作为考点之一，顺利举行AMC竞赛。

The Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) is one of the largest inter-school mathematical thinking challenge activities in the world with a long history, and ASJ students actively signed up to participate. On September 25th, as one of the test centers, ASJ successfully held the AMC competition.

ASJ“家国同庆，暨往开来” 庆双节文艺汇演活动将于9月30日展开，届时，每班将推出代表性节目与大家分享。

ASJ will organise activities with the theme “Enjoying National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, Heading for a bright future” on September 30th to celebrate the mid-autumn festival and national day of 2021.

排练正在紧张进行中，表演项目有合唱、舞蹈、演奏等，势必呈现出一场视觉、听觉盛宴。期待各个班级的精彩亮相！

Aiming at "What is the internationalization of education?" and "What is the core literacy?". President Shen mentioned that the internationalization of education refers to using an international perspective to grasp and develop education, the allocation of educational resources internationally, and closer educational exchanges and cooperation between countries. He also pointed out that the "core literacy" we often talk about has specific descriptions in many international organizations and countries. However, they have the same goal by different routes and have a high degree of similarity.
