Physical health is an essential component in the holistic pastoral care provided to our students at ISA Wenhua International Center for A Level. In addition to providing our students with daily opportunities for exercise and physical activity, we strive to create special events designed to promote the enjoyment of exercise and sports.

在爱莎文华国际课程学院A Level中心的人文心智关怀体系中，我们最为关心和重视的，就是学生身体素质的发展及健康。为了让学生可以真正享受运动，除了为学生提供日常锻炼和体育运动的机会外，我们还努力为学生打造丰富的、特殊的体育活动。

On Wednesday November 24,  students had the opportunity to enjoy the first of a series of events that will engage them in a variety of physical activity experiences throughout the school year. On this occasion, student visited Sports Monster Guangzhou, a state-of-the-art facility in which they enjoyed various sports and other activities they had never experienced before.

11 月 24 日(星期三)，学生参加了学校为他们准备的各种体育活动中的第一场。在老师的陪伴下，他们来到了广州运动萌兽体育融合主题乐园——一座将运动和娱乐相结合的动态立体空间。在那里，学生享受了很多以前从未体验过的各种运动和其他活动设施。

The students had a fantastic time enjoying a wide range of activities which were divided into four categories: Basic, Exciting, Adventure and Digital. Each of these categories had multiple activities which included: archery, basketball, baseball, clay shooting, darts, dancing, trampoline jumping, rock climbing, rope courses, zip-lining, slides, soccer, ping-pong, Virtual Reality Flying, Kung Fu, bike racing, curling and handball.

学生们度过了愉快的时光，体验了各种各样的活动。这些活动分为四类：基础运动、活力运动、挑战运动、和数码运动，共30余种项目，包括：射箭、篮球、棒球、飞碟射击、飞镖、舞蹈、蹦床跳跃、攀岩、绳索攻略、高空速滑、滑梯、足球、乒乓球、VR飞行 、数码功夫、自行车赛、冰壶和手球等等。

This type of activity was also a great way for students to strengthen their relationship and rapport with their teachers, as all teachers were also part of the activities, playing with the students side by side. Providing teachers and students with opportunities to spend time together in different settings is an integral part of our Pastoral Care system, which focuses on relationship building, mentoring and restorative practices.

通过这种类型的活动，所有老师有机会一起参与进来，与学生并肩玩耍，建立师生之间的融洽关系。因为在爱莎文华A Level的人文心智关怀体系中，在不同环境中为老师与学生提供共度时光的机会也是非常重要的，这样可以更好地维系师生关系，进行指导及修复式实践。

At the end of the day students and teachers felt very tired, but also happy and closer to one another. It was a great experience to see our school family facing their fears, enjoying new experiences, supporting one another, pushing their limits and learning to work together. We can confidently say that our Sports Day was much more than a sporting event, and we are looking forward to everything we will continue experiencing together as a school community.

活动马上要结束时，学生和老师们都意犹未尽，也通过这次的运动日活动进一步拉近了彼此之间的距离。让我们印象更深刻的是，A Level这个大家庭在这次活动中，师生们一起面对未知，共同经历，共同感受，一起欢笑，互相支持，甚至挑战他们的极限……这一切对我们来说都是非常棒的体验！我们可以很自信地说，我们的运动日已经远远超越了一场普通体育赛事的意义，也让我们对A Level这个大家庭未来将共同经历的一切充满热情，保持期待。
