预告|12月16日晚上在AIC剧院——“戏剧才是重点!”

Drama CAS: "The play's the thing."

在本学期初, Sally Li 和 Joyce Lin 两位DP

的同学决定举办戏剧 CAS 校园活动。在AIC戏剧老师 Nicola Howard 的指导下，该小组有了一个良好的开始，来自DP1的10名学生报名参加了这个活动。

被问及开办戏剧CAS的原因，Joyce Lin说：“我们想和其他人一起演戏，包括一些不做IB戏剧但喜欢表演的人”。

Sally Li 补充说“我们在 IB 戏剧课程中做了很多在戏剧方面的创作, 所以我们想把戏剧介绍给更多的人，并通过分享我们的知识来创造性地拓展自己”。

Sally Li and Joyce Lin decided to run a Drama CAS this term. With drama teacher Nicola Howard as their supervisor, the group got off to a great start with ten students signing up, all from DP1.

Asked about her reason for running the drama CAS, Joyce Lin said, "We wanted to perform a play with others, including some who do not do IB theatre but who like performing".

"We do a lot of creating theatre in our IB classes", added Sally Li, “so we wanted to introduce drama to more people and stretch ourselves creatively by trying to share our knowledge".

Gary 提议演出一段有关校园恋情的剧本, Nicola 说，“我们准备演出的剧情正好也契合了这个提议, 学生创造的每个角色制定、故事情节都非常有趣，他们也乐于其中, 我很期待他们下周的节目”。

Jessica Liu也一直在为该节目创作一些原创音乐，希望为在座的观众们带来一场完美的演出。

"Gary suggested a school romance", said Nicola, "and we just took it from there. It has been so much fun to work out the narrative journey for each created character. The students have been fantastic to work with a great, and I am looking forward to their show next week".

IB student Jessica Liu has been composing some original music to accompany the show, so it promises to be an absolute first for AIC audiences.

Joyce说：“我们非常乐于其中, 虽然情节有些复杂，但我最喜欢的情节就是在食堂里和Eason对决的那一幕。

"We have enjoyed making up a play", said Joyce. "The plot is very involved. My favourite part is the scene in the cafeteria where I have a showdown with Eason.
