秋光绚丽,金风送爽,在这飒爽的秋风中广州暨大港澳子弟学校迎来了IB PYP 工作坊培训官、IB顾问、IB访问官和授权官Apple Li老师到校与小学部教师们一起研讨小学项目中的评估。


“可靠的评估可以构建学生对世界的了解,发展技能,分享新的态度和理解自己学习者的身份。”围绕着这一中心思想,在Apple Li老师的带领下全体教师整合自身已有的评估经验就评估的意义和如何进行有效评估展开了一场饶有趣味探究之旅。

评估经验交流

Assessment experience sharing

通过“彩虹糖”、“鸡尾酒会”等形式多样的活动,教师们在轻松愉快的氛围下敞开心扉与同伴们互相分享彼此已有的评估经验。在Apple 老师的指引下,她们根据已有的评估经验,设下个性化的培训目标,使得本次培训更具有针对性。

评估的意义

The Meaning of Assessment

“当学生能够积极地进行自我评估,并采纳建设性意见/信息反馈时,他们就成为有效和自律的学习者。

当老师们不断地了解到学生知道什么和能够做到什么时,他们的教学就会变得更加有效。


当父母和法定监护人了解自己的孩子的学习目标以及孩子正在取得的进步时,他们就会更加明智地帮助孩子。


当学校把评估用作评价自己课程的深度和教学有效性的工具时,他们就会成为更具影响力的学习社区。”


根据已有的评估知识各个学科老师各抒己见,从自己的学科角度出发,深入探究评估的意义。

如何进行有效的评估

How to Conduct Effective Assessments

那么我们应该从哪几个方面对学生进行评估?我们又该选择什么样的评估策略?


“小学项目的评估有4个方面:对学习进行考察、记录、测评和报告。每个方面都各具其功能,但都旨在为学习和教学提供依据。尽管评估的这4个方面的权重并不相同,但每个方面都有其重要性和价值。小学项目侧重对学习的考察和记录,因为这两个方面对于向学习者提供可行的意见/信息反馈来说至关重要。”(From Principles into Practice,IBO )


在Apple 老师的带领下,老师们一起头脑风暴了许多前期评估、形成性评估和总结性评估策略,使教师们意识到是评估发生于教与学的各个阶段中的,只有学会如何多元化评估学生,才能让学生在评估中不断成长和完善自己,成为学生名副其实的“伯乐”。




这次IB培训会在大家的掌声与依依不舍中圆满落幕。大家脸上的笑容就是对这次培训交出的最完美的答卷。

In the glorious autumn light and golden breeze, ASJ welcomed Ms. Apple Li, IB PYP workshop trainer, IB consultant, IB visiting officer and authorizing officer, to the school to discuss assessment in the primary school program with the PYP teachers.


With the central idea of "reliable assessment builds students' understanding of the world, develops their skills and enables them to share new attitudes and understand who they are as learners," the teachers, led by Apple Li, took an interesting journey through discussing the meaning of assessment and how to do it effectively by integrating their own assessment experiences.

Through various activities such as "rainbow candies" and "cocktail party", the teachers shared their assessment experiences with one another in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Under the guidance of Ms. Apple, they set their personalized training objectives based on their assessment experiences, which made the training more relevant.

评估的意义

The Meaning of Assessment

"Students become effective and self-regulated learners when they are able to actively self-assess and incorporate constructive comments/informative feedback. Teachers become more effective when they are constantly learning what their students know and can do.


When parents and legal guardians know their children's learning goals and the progress their children are making, they are more informed in helping their children.


When schools use assessments as a tool to evaluate the depth of their own curriculum and the effectiveness of their instruction, they become more influential learning communities."


Based on the previous knowledge about assessment each subject teacher expressed his or her own views and explored the meaning of assessment in depth from his or her own subject perspective.

如何进行有效的评估

How to Conduct Effective Assessments

So in what aspects should we assess students? And what assessment strategies should we choose?


"There are four aspects of assessment in primary program: examining learning, recording, measuring, and reporting. Each aspect has its own function, but all are intended to inform learning and teaching. Although these four aspects of assessment are not weighted equally, each has its own importance and value. The primary program focuses on the examination and documentation of learning because these two aspects are critical to providing viable input/informative feedback to learners." (From Principles into Practice,IBO )


Led by Ms. Apple, the teachers brainstormed many pre-assessment, formative assessment, and summative assessment strategies, making them realize that assessment occurs in all stages of teaching and learning, and that only by learning how to assess students in a variety of ways can students grow and improve themselves through assessment and become a true "booster" for their students. 




The IB training session came to a successful end with applause and reluctance from everyone. The smiles on everyone's faces were the perfect answer to the training.
