IGCSE2 Drama: scene but not heard!
上周五，IGCSE2戏剧系学生前往番禺祈福学校参加戏剧节。学生们表演了最近在课堂上创作的三个作品，主题为“无声的剧场”。
每个小组都创作了一部约三到五分钟的作品，学生们要向两组不同的观众表演两次。此外, 他们还观看了祈福学校学生的表演。
Last Friday, the IGCSE2 drama students went to Clifford School in Panyu to participate in a theatre festival.
They performed three pieces they have been working on in class recently as part of the topic called "Silent Drama".
Each group had created a piece lasting about three to five minutes which they performed twice to two different audiences. They also watched performances by Clifford School students.

"Drama is all about exploring new horizons and trying out stuff, and that's what we did. It was great seeing all the different plays other students created and performing our own", said Delia Djobo.
AIC戏剧老师Nicola Howard 说:“出于多种原因，这是一次美妙的经历。学生们看到了其他学校的同龄学生的创作，同时有机会在的非同校的观众面前尝试自己的戏剧, 更加客观的展现表演。此外，学生们还必须准备海报和音频预告片来推广自己的表演, 这意味着学生们需要自行组织筹备与考虑到作为一家戏剧公司的各个方面”。
"It was a wonderful experience for several reasons," said drama teacher Nicola Howard. "They saw what other students their age are doing, and they had the opportunity to try their plays in front of an audience not composed of their school peers, making the reception more objective. In addition, the students had to prepare posters and audio trailers for Clifford School to advertise their performances: it meant the students had to think about other aspects of being a theatre company and organise themselves".

"Drama is a talent and showing my talent to others is a sign of confidence in myself. I am pleased about performing at Clifford International School on Friday. It was a new experience", said Terrence Pan.
