NEC 2022 全美经济学挑战赛中国区域赛已于 2021年 12 月圆满落幕！全国共有 50+城市，300+学校，3000+顶尖学生进行了一场紧张刺激而又精彩纷呈的全英文经济学学术比拼。

作为首次参加该比赛的队伍，广州暨大港澳子弟学校的学子们发挥出色不负众望，夺得多项荣誉——

The National Economics Challenge China Regional Competition was successfully concluded in December 2021! A total of 50+ cities, 300+ schools, and 3,000+ top students competed in a fantastic academic competition in English. ASJ students performed very well and took many awards -

而我校也荣获CEE美国经济教育学会认证的 “经济学教育新秀学校”的荣誉。这一切离不开团队配合的力量，与竞赛指导老师的支持。感谢他们的付出。今年4月，2支队伍将奔赴NEC中国站比赛。

As a team that participates in this competition first time, the Affiliated School of JNU For Hong Kong and Macao Students has lived up to its reputation and won the honour of being certified as a "Holistic Education Rising Star School" by the Council for Economic Education (CEE)! The accolades could not have been achieved without the strength of the teamwork and the support of the competition instructors. We are grateful for their dedication. In April, two teams will represent ASJ to participate in NEC China Finals.

参赛感悟

回顾此次NEC的区域经济赛，抱着试一试的心态，想为自己的学习经历中画上一抹栩栩如生的色彩。但生活总能够恰逢其时地给你一个意料之外的措手不及。凭着团队的付出，成功晋级且获得National Top Scoring Individual Bronze Award。在此感谢我的队员们，我的经济老师对我的倾心培养，还有ASJ此次给予我宝贵的机会去珍惜比赛中流年似水般的回忆。

Looking back at the NEC Regional Economics Competition, the original intention of the group was just to give it a try and to paint a vivid picture of our learning experience. But life can always catch you off guard at just the right time. With the team's dedication, we were able to qualify and win the National Top Scoring Individual Bronze Award. I would like to thank my teammates, my economics teacher for their dedication and ASJ for giving me the opportunity to cherish the memories of the competition.

旨在发现每个学生的闪光点的前提下，NEC让我体会到深入了解经济学的乐趣。

Looking back on the NEC 2021, I feel like I am in a magical economics space.

I believe that the NEC aims to find the best in each student and let me experience the pleasure of learning more about economics.

I would like to thank ASJ and the NEC for giving me this unforgettable memory.

I believe I will continue to work hard to show a unique multi-dimensional sparkle, both on an economic level and in many other aspects of my development.

荣誉至上，NEC集合了我们整个团队以及老师们的辛劳和努力，在短短三个月的时间内从区域站晋级中国站比赛，过程很难忘，我们所付出的努力最终得到了好的结果，希望我们不忘初心，在后面的决赛中取得更好的成绩。

Honor is the most important. We worked hard and paid efforts to fight for the victory. In a short period of three months, our team advanced from the regional round to the final round. the process was very unforgettable, and our efforts finally got a good result. I hope we will not forget our initial ideals and aspirations and achieve better results in the final round.

感谢老师的培养与支持，同时也感谢我的队员们的努力付出。但是我认为我们还有进步的空间，希望我们能在全国赛上突破自我，再创佳绩。

I would like to thank the teacher for his training and support, as well as my team members for their efforts.

I think we have space for improvement. I hope we can break through ourselves and achieve good results in the next round.

很高兴刚刚迈入高中的同学们就能对这个学科充满兴趣，但是想要攻克这个含金量较高的经济学比赛，光有兴趣是不够的。每周三下午课后的集训，全英文的经济学内容对每一个同学来说都是挑战，经过将近三个月时间的备赛才能在本次华南赛区取得不错的成绩。本次比赛不仅丰富了参赛同学们的课后生活，而且团队比赛的方式锻炼了他们相互协作，互助学习的能力。希望他们在全国赛中依旧能拿到不错的名次！

I am glad to know that the students who have just entered high school are interested in Economics, but it is not enough to be interested in this subject if they want to achieve good results in this high-level economics competition.

On the Wednesday afternoon, we would have Economics’ courses in English which was a challenge for every student. It took nearly three months to prepare for the competition in order to achieve good results in the South China Division.

This competition not only enriched the after-class life of the participating students, but also improved their teamwork skills.

I hope they can get a good place in the national round!

NEC全美经济学挑战由美国经济学教育学会（CEE）主办，于2000年发起，至今举办超过20届，是极具影响力的中学生经济学学术活动。全球每年有超过 15,000 名学生受邀参与，是未来政商财经精英的摇篮。

20多年来，NEC在全球共影响了30W+中学生，是财商经学子一年一度的学术盛事，众多学生已被哈佛、耶鲁、牛津、剑桥等世界一流名校录取，并获得华尔街知名金融机构广泛认可。

National Economics Challenge (NEC) has been organised by Council for Economic Education (CEE), and it was launched in 2000 and has been held for over 20 years since then. NEC is the most significant academic event for secondary school students in economics, and it is brought to China exclusively by SKT Education & Beyond. With over 15,000 international students invited to participate each year, NEC is the cradle of the future business and financial elite.

Over the past 20 years, the NEC has impacted 300,000+ secondary school students worldwide and has become a highly influential academic event for secondary school students in economics. Many students who have participated in the NEC have been offered at the world's leading schools such as Harvard, Yale, Oxford and Cambridge, and they are widely recognised by leading Wall Street financial institutions.

The competition is one of the most prestigious events, and it is a must-have "golden key" for students who want to study business at university to strengthen their CV. The NEC helps to stimulate students' interest in economics, develops problem-solving skills, and improves critical thinking.
