7月5日下午，清华大学广东招生组组长、博士生导师钟海旺教授与清华大学珠三角研究院院长助理、院办主任陈军民莅临我校调研指导。我校执行理事长邓强光、执行校长封岩陪同参观，双方就校长推荐计划、实习计划、学生管理、升学、学术交流活动等方面进行了深入交流。

钟海旺教授一行依次参观了学校的图书馆、体育馆、功能室、年级教室等基础建设，详细地了解了学校的办学理念、课程体系、素质教育等方面的情况，对学校为粤港澳大湾区培养人才的办学情怀表示高度认可，同时对学校的教学模式给予了充分肯定。

交流会上，邓强光理事长代表学校对钟海旺教授一行表示热烈欢迎并指出广州暨大港澳子弟学校的创办，旨在有效地解决在大湾区就业的港澳人员子女的教育问题，为国家和大湾区建设培养一批爱国爱港的人才，实现粤港澳地区文化交融。邓总希望未来学校能与清华大学加强交流和合作，组织学术交流活动，进一步加深港澳籍学生对清华大学的了解，同时我校也将努力培养更多优秀的学子，不断向中国顶尖学府输送人才。

钟海旺教授在听取了封岩执行校长作学校基本情况的汇报后也向与会人员介绍了清华大学近年来在广东的录取情况。钟教授表示清华大学对于人才选拔非常严谨，希望学校多鼓励学生抓住学习机会，珍惜时间，严格要求自己，为考上清华大学而努力；同时也欢迎我校组织同学们到清华大学深圳研究院和清华大学深圳国际研究生院参观，提高科研学习兴趣。未来两校可加强交流互动，共同推动青少年教育事业的发展。

我校助理校长邹婷、校办主任黄玉婷陪同接待，我校10年级的苏钰淇作为学生代表参加了本次活动。

On 5 July 2022, Professor Haiwang Zhong, Head of the Guangdong Admissions Team and PhD supervisor of Tsinghua University, and Junmin Chen, Assistant to the Dean and Director of Administrative Office of the Institute of Pearl River Delta Studies of Tsinghua University, visited ASJ for research and guidance. Lucas Deng, Executive Director of ASJ School Board and Jessica Feng, Executive Principal of ASJ,  accompanied the visit. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on the principal's recommendation scheme, internship programme, student management, further studies and academic exchange activities.

Professor Zhong and Mr. Chen visited ASJ's library, gymnasium, function rooms, classrooms and other infrastructures. They gained a detailed understanding of ASJ's philosophy, curriculum system, and quality education.

During the exchange meeting, Mr. Deng expressed a warm welcome to Professor Zhong and Mr. Chen on behalf of ASJ and pointed out that ASJ was established to effectively solve the education problem of the children of Hong Kong and Macao people employed in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). We are committed to cultivating a group of patriotic and Hong Kong-loving talents for the construction of the GBA and our country, and achieving cultural integration among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. Mr. Deng hoped that ASJ would strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Tsinghua University, and organise academic exchange activities to further deepen the understanding of Tsinghua University to Hong Kong and Macao students. ASJ will also strive to cultivate more outstanding students and continuously help talents to receive higher education at top universities in China.

Professor Zhong then listened to Ms. Feng's report on ASJ operation. He also introduced the admissions situation of Tsinghua University in Guangdong in recent years. Professor Zhong expressed that Tsinghua University has strict requirements for admission and hoped that ASJ would encourage students to seize the opportunity to study, cherish the time, be strict with themselves and work hard to get into Tsinghua University. He also welcomed ASJ to organise visits to Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School for students to enhance their interest in research and study. In the future, ASJ and Tsinghua University will strengthen exchanges and interactions to jointly promote the development of youth education.

Crystal Zou, Assistant Principal of ASJ and Yuting Huang, Director of ASJ School Office,  accompanied the visit. The Grade 10 student Su Yuqi attended the meeting as a representative.
