NAS Foshan has become an IB World School and is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the IB Diploma Programme. To become an IB World School, it must pass the very strict examination by the IB World Headquarters and meet the IBO standards in terms of hardware conditions, teacher quality and teaching philosophy. Our journey towards receiving this accolade has been a school-wide team effort.

At NAS Foshan, we celebrate the IB philosophy that IBDP is open to all students. There are different pathways available to students, so that they can create a study programme that best suits their personal needs. 至今已拥有30年教龄的Allison老师，曾于西班牙的美国体系学校任教25年，负责IBDP及PYP课程教学及评估工作。Allison老师曾任中国知名外国语学校国际高中学部学术主任及IBDP项目协调员及成都知名国际学院的联合校长，领导和协调IB、PYP、MYP和DP课程的设计和执行。Allison老师经验丰富，熟悉IBDP国际课程，了解中西教育体系的有效融合，将为佛山市诺德安达学校IBDP课程的组织执行注入强势支持。

Ms. Allison Donohue has already experienced in education for over 30 years. She used to work as a PYP teacher in an American School in Spain for about 25 years. Ms. Allison started her teaching life in China in 2016, working as academic director and IBDP program coordinator in a foreign languages school. She became the founding co-academic principal and IB programs administrator of an international academy in 2019, where she led and coordinated the design and implementation of IB, PYP, MYP and DP courses. Allison is experienced, familiar with IBDP international courses and the effective integration of Chinese and Western education systems. Allison’s joining will provide the organization and implementation of IBDP courses in NAS Foshan with stronger support.

为了满足学生更多个性化学习的需求和更好的利用学校资源完成课程，佛山市诺德安达学校在图书馆摆放了大量IBDP课程书籍，并设有IBDP学习阅览室、在中学楼设有视觉艺术室、IBDP中文文学课室和不同学习功能区等。

To satisfy students’ needs for individualized learning and utilise school resources to complete course requirements, our library has a large number of IBDP related books and IBDP rooms. Our Secondary School also has Visual Arts classrooms and other learning function areas.

正式成为一所IB世界学校，意味着今年9月佛山市诺德安达学校将开始国际文凭大学的预科项目。两年之后，从佛山市诺德安达学校毕业的学生便握有用IBDP毕业文凭叩启世界一流学府大门的机会。

This September, NAS Foshan has officially become an IB World School, which means that we will start the preparatory program of international university diplomas. In three years, students who graduate from our school will have the opportunity to knock on the world’s famous universities with their IBDP diplomas.

Various paths lead students into the space of higher education. However, choosing the challenging IB Diploma Programme creates the opportunity for gaining an advantage and building up students’ confidence. Let us look forward to the exciting IB learning journey in the new school year!
