LEH International School Foshan in partnership with Trumptech is excited to host Summer Tech 2022, a multi-activity week programme that features science, technology and art. 佛山市霍利斯外籍人员子女学校将联合香港尊科举办第一届科创x艺术交流体验活动——创享艺夏 2022，为学生提供丰富多元的学习和游戏活动，帮助学生们丰富和充实暑期时光。目前我们仅有少量剩余名额，面向8-12岁学生，时间从8月1日开始。请感兴趣的家长和学生抓紧机会报名！

With various sessions involving computer sciences, creative art, and sports, the Summer Tech 2022 is designed to provide a balanced course structured and developed to encourage students’ academic skills through a range of inspiring activities that are based on but go beyond the school curriculum. 

佛山霍利斯创享艺夏 2022的内容涉及计算机科学、创意艺术和体育这几个学科，在学校常规课程内容基础之上进行丰富拓展，帮助学生们提升科学创新思维、发掘艺术潜能。

In this programme, students will explore the hardware and programming software of LEGO® Education SPIKE Prime and learn to programme with Scratch, a graphical programming software. Students will start by studying the concept of computational thinking and learn to design some basic programmes to solve a few simple problems. As they progress, they will apply their STEM knowledge and use the LEGO® Education hardware (including building blocks, motors, and sensors) to solve a series of challenges with their creativity. 

学生们将初步学习 LEGO® Education SPIKE Prime 的硬件及编程软件的操作，运用 Scratch 图像化编程软件进行编程。他们将会学习计算思维的概念，运用简单编程解决问题。随着课程推进，他们将进一步学习及运用 STEM 知识，并配合 LEGO® Education 的硬件（包括积木、马达和传感器）来设计及制作产品，运用他们的创新能力来解决难题。

Besides programming, there are two sessions of PE, including Swimming, Basketball or Rugby, and one session of Creative Art. 

除了编程，学生们每天都有两次体育锻炼时间，包括游泳、篮球或英式橄榄球，以及一节创意艺术课。

During Creative Art lessons, students will be experiencing acrylic painting on canvas and ceramics, under the guidance of our experienced teacher Ms Helen Hayward, Head of Art. 

在创意艺术课上，学生们将在美术老师Ms Helen Hayward 的指导下，体验使用丙烯颜料在画布及陶瓷上作画。

Students will participate in inspiring and practical science, programming, and art lessons; hands-on activities and experiments that will foster their interest in these disciplines and broaden their academic horizons.

有趣又实用的科学、编程和艺术课程以及丰富的实验实践活动，激发学生对这些学科的兴趣，拓宽学术视野。

The sessions will predominantly be delivered through the medium of English creating an immersive English speaking and learning environment which will improve students’ English skills in both academic activities and real-life situations, thus enabling them to become more confident communicators in English. 

沉浸式的英文听说读写环境，帮助学生们提高学术英语和日常英语沟通能力，更加自信地使用英文交流。

The value of attending Summer Tech 2022 goes beyond the obvious academic benefits, helping students make new friends and develop valuable social skills through discussions, group projects, sports, and team activities. 

学术之外，日常活动设置了许多小组讨论、团队项目和体育活动，学生有更多机会认识新朋友，提高社交能力。

Two one-hour-long PE sessions will be offered each day for recreational purposes to help students unwind after studying and encourage a balanced lifestyle for them. 

每天两节时长为一小时的体育活动，帮助学生们在专注学习后放松身心，养成和保持良好的生活方式和习惯。

Students can enjoy the high-quality campus facilities at LEH Foshan including the purpose-built classrooms, the fully equipped science labs, the multi-purpose sports hall and the swimming pool.

Ms Helen Hayward

Ms Helen Hayward joins LEH Foshan as the Head of Art. She graduated from Chelsea School of Art with a Fine Art degree and later from the University of the Arts London, Camberwell with a Master of Arts in Visual Arts: Printmaking, with Distinction.  Ms Hayward is a practicing fine artist who has received awards for her work and has exhibited in the United Kingdom including The Royal Academy of Art in London and internationally at the Sydney Contemporary Open, Australia and at The Museum of Macau, China. She has been teaching art in schools and colleges for nearly 20 years. 

Helen Hayward女士是佛山霍利斯的艺术学科主任。Hayward女士毕业于伦敦艺术大学切尔西艺术与设计学院，获得美术学士学位，后深造于伦敦艺术大学坎伯韦尔艺术学院并以优秀成绩毕业，获得视觉艺术（版画艺术）硕士学位。Hayward女士是一位执业的美术家，她的作品屡获大奖，曾在英国伦敦皇家艺术学院、澳大利亚悉尼当代艺术展和中国澳门博物馆参与过展出。Hayward女士教学经验丰富，从事艺术学科的教学将近20年。
