如何确定目标并提升自律能力?

2022年11月21日(星期一)下午的领导力课程的第三次课,学校邀请邀请了资深公益人张斌峰老师给我们带来《公益项目的实践与执行》的讲座。

The third SHBS Leadership Class this semester was held on the afternoon of November 21, 2022. We had the honor to have Mr. Zhang Binfeng, a veteran public welfare professional, to give us a lecture on the Practice and Implementation of Public Welfare Projects. 


张老师在讲座开始就问同学们:什么是公益,怎么做好公益?我认为公益就是让大家都参与进来,让世界更美好。后面的内容就围绕这两个问题展开:公益就是公共利益事业,可以让公众受益,可以让公众参与并且可以持续发展的项目(毕竟授人以鱼,不如授人以渔)。

At the beginning of the lecture, Mr. Zhang asked us: What is public welfare program and how to do it well? “Public welfare means to engage more people in this cause and make our world a better place.” Then, he focused on the following two aspects: The cause of public welfare shall be able to benefit the public and engage more people to make it sustainable (after all, give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime).


随后张老师讲述了自己从志愿者到公益人的历程,回忆在自己当志愿者的那段时间里,从“重走中国西北角”开始,本来是计划半年走完,但实际却花了一年半。然后到“上学之路”计划,筹钱解决了178名学生上学路费的问题。再到拯救中国最美的湿地草原若尔盖,共用了11年时间。最后到“希望北川”公益活动,为遭遇大地震、泥石流等自然灾害的学生捐图书和衣物,帮他们度过难关。

Mr. Zhang shared with us his journey from a volunteer to a public welfare professional. He recalled that during his time as a volunteer, he started from "revisiting the northwest corner of China". He planned to finish the journey in half a year, but it took one and a half years. Then, he started the “Road to School” program, which raised money to cover the commuting to school of 178 students. Later, he joined a program to save Ruoergai, the most beautiful marshy meadow in China. All these programs together took him 11 years. After that, he joined "Hope Beichuan" public welfare activity to donate books and clothes for the students who suffered from natural disasters such as earthquakes and mudslides to help them overcome difficulties.


然后,张老师持续而深入地开展了两个公益项目,一个是“爱飞翔·乡村教师培训”,2010-2019年的10年间,共有来自21个省市自治区、287个县、853所学校,1512位乡村教师来沪参加培训。另一个就是是“爱传递·再生电脑教室”。再生电脑教室项目由全职员工+专业合作方+岗位志愿者组成。到目前为止,服务30个省份,161个县,约21.3万名师生从中受益。传递的爱不仅仅在国内,在乌干达和肯尼亚也收到了来自中国的爱。

Then, whole-heartedly and continuously, Mr. Zhang carried out two public welfare projects. One is "I Fly · Rural Education". During the 10 years from 2010 to 2019, a total of 1,512 rural teachers from 853 schools in 287 counties of 21 provinces and municipalities came to Shanghai for the training. The other one is the “Share the Love · Computer Classroom Regeneration” project. This project is supported by full-time staff, professional partners and volunteers. So far, about 213,000 teachers and students in 161 counties of 30 provinces have benefited from this project. Such sharing of love doesn’t only happen at home, but also in Uganda and Kenya.

受到张老师的激励,我校学生会信息部部长计划发起废旧电子产品回收活动,与张老师的项目对接,为需要的地区做些贡献。

Inspired by Mr. Zhang, IT Director of SHBS Student Union plans to launch a recycling program of electronic devices to connect with Mr. Zhang's project and make some contributions to the area in need.

“公益,起于感性,成于理性,不变的是信念。” 如何让公益变得可持续发展?

张老师提出三点,

第一点要有精准的定位;

第二点要有清晰的目标;

第三点要有高效且持续的解决方案。

"We start to engage in public welfare programs because of our sensitivity, yet we need our sense to do it well and sustainably. Most of all, we need to hold firm our faith." How to make public welfare projects sustainable? Mr. Zhang brought up three points: first, we need to have a clear positioning for the program; second, we need to have clear goals; third, we need to have efficient and sustainable solutions.


做公益,可以不是职业,但可以是生活方式,可以从此写进基因。

We may not choose public welfare as our career, but it can be our way of life, written into our genes.
