表演艺术是一把创造性的钥匙,它可以释放孩子的想象力,并极大地转变他们的教育。本周五,深圳诺德双语学校圆满结束了一年一度的茱莉亚戏剧节活动。

JUILLIARD PROGRAMME

在深圳诺德双语学校,我们通过一系列由茱莉亚学院精心挑选和设计的核心音乐、舞蹈和戏剧作品来强化表演艺术的学习,这些作品涵盖了多种多样的流派、风格和文化。教师将使用茱莉亚创意课堂的授课形式,增强和完善表演艺术项目,将引导学生深入剖析音乐、舞蹈和戏剧的核心作品,并强调学生应通过自己的创造力培养个人艺术技巧。


茱莉亚学院课程专家和艺术家经常访问诺德安达教育集团在世界各地的学校,除了支持我们的教师成功实施强化课程外,课程专家还通过与教师共同举办针对家长和学校员工的研讨会,与教师、学生和学校社区交流互动,为教师提供专业发展机会,指导学生团体,主持彩排和课堂讨论。

表演艺术的一大好处是培养自信心。学生获得演讲技巧,如镇定、专注和克服焦虑。要成为有效的沟通者,学生必须学习如何在一系列观众面前展示自己,并在智力和情感上与人们建立联系。


本次戏剧节,我们以一系列简短的替代性或实验性表演和展览为特色,并鼓励学生用各种能想到的表达方式来进行表演。

Marviantoz Alejandro Baker

Marv老师来自于南非,毕业于斯泰伦博斯大学戏剧专业,获得PYP国际认证、TEFL及TKT证书。在上海知名国际学校工作四年,担任戏剧老师及IBPYP年级协调员。


Marv老师擅于通过创建具有挑战性和吸引力的课程来激发学生的兴趣,来开展既满足国际文化融合,又能体现学生个性化的戏剧课程,深受学生喜欢。

The performing arts are creative keys that can unlock your child’s imagination and significantly transform their education. This Friday, NAS Shenzhen successfully held the annual Juilliard Drama Festival.

JUILLIARD PROGRAMME

At NAS Shenzhen, your child's learning of the performing arts will be enhanced using a repertoire of core music, dance, and drama works encompassing a wide range of genres, styles, and cultures designed and hand-selected by Juilliard. Teachers use Juilliard Creative Classroom, an extraordinary online collection of educational resources that have been designed to enhance and supplement performing arts curricula. Juilliard designed teaching materials – creative activities, historical information, rehearsal strategies, and professional development resources lead students through explorations of core works of music, dance, and drama and emphasize building students’ personal artistry through their own creativity.


Juilliard curriculum specialists and artists frequently visit our schools around the world. In addition to supporting our teachers to successfully implement the enhanced curriculum, curriculum specialists engage teachers, students, and the school community through co-leading workshops with teachers for parents and school staff, providing professional development opportunities for teachers, coaching student ensembles, leading rehearsals and class discussions.

One significant benefit of Performing Arts is the development of self-confidence. Students acquire presentation skills such as poise, focus and overcoming anxiety. To be effective communicators, students must learn how to present themselves in front of a range of audiences and connect with people intellectually and emotionally. 


This time, our drama festival will be a showcase of various performances and stories that our students like to tell and the way they’d like to tell them.

Marviantoz Alejandro Baker

Mr. Marv is our new drama teacher from South Africa. He graduated from Stellenbosch University and obtained Making the PYP Happen, TEFL and TKT certificates. He worked in a well-known international school in Shanghai for four years as a drama teacher and IBPYP grade coordinator. 


Mr. Marv is good at stimulating students' interest by creating challenging and attractive courses to develop drama courses that not only meet international cultural integration, but also reflect students' personalization, he's very popular among students.

The Performing Arts allows for deep self-expression and emotional engagement. They help our students personalize their ideas and expand their imaginations. The Performing Arts also teach students about the power of the individual—it’s not just the creative material that counts, but how it is performed and expressed. The three components, music, dance, and drama, each engage a child’s brain, body, and emotions in different ways to promote this self-expression.
