As we joyfully celebrating the New Year, Guangzhou ISA Liwan International Campus is pleased to announce that Mr. Michael Urquhart has become the Co-head of Guangzhou ISA Liwan International Campus and the Head of Guangzhou ISA Liwan International School.

四季更替，转眼间我们迎来了2022年。在新年的欢声笑语中，广州荔湾爱莎国际学校很高兴地向大家宣布：Michael Urquhart先生成为广州荔湾爱莎国际学校联席校长及广州荔湾爱莎外籍人员子女学校校长。

-30 years of experience in education, including 15 years’ leadership experience.

-The former Headmaster at Victoria English School as well as International School of Indiana, both schools ranked top in their area.

-The former Deputy Head of Utahloy International School and Principal of its sec ondary school div.

-The former Head of the ISA Tianhe International School of Guangzhou and Executive Deputy Head of the ISA Science City International School.

-30年的教育经验,15年的领导经验；

-任阿联酋维多利亚英语学校校长（该校学术成绩在阿联酋地区排名第一）和美国印第安纳国际学校校长（该校IB课程的成绩连续5年评为美国高中前50名）；

-曾在广州誉德莱国际学校任职副校长及其中学部校长。

-曾任广州天河爱莎外籍人员子女学校校长及爱莎科学城学校执行副校长。

Mr. Michael Urquhart is experienced and knowledgeable. Under the leadership of Mr. Michael Urquhart, ISA Tianhe was selected as one of the top ten "2020 New Insight Schools", and awarded the "Hurun Education Top 20 International Schools in China".

Michael校长教育经验丰富、知识渊博、德才兼备，在他的带领下，广州天河爱莎外籍人员子女学校被评为全国十大“2020新锐国际学校”之一；荣获“2021胡润百学·中国外籍人员子女学校20强”。

During his tenure, 21 students from ISA Science City participated in the World Scholar's Cup competitions held in Shenzhen on behalf of the school, and they performed well in all areas, especially in the debate and writing segment of the competitions. In their first appearance with other international schools, ISASC's swimmers made impressive achievement.

在他任职期间，爱莎科学城学校21名中学生代表学校参加了在深圳举行的世界学者杯比赛，在所有领域都表现得相当出色，尤其是辩论和写作比赛成绩斐然；首次在与其它国际学校的联赛中亮相，爱莎科学城的游泳运动员们便取得令人赞叹的成绩。

Mr. Michael Urquhart has also led the ISA Wenhua Guangzhou Foreign Language IB programme, which has achieved remarkable achievements, including:

- 12 students won national Gold award and regional Excellence Award respectively in BPA Competition, among which 3 students won the third place in the world, which is the only Chinese team in this research group;

- In the Cayley Contest 10 of the University of Waterloo mathematics Series in Canada, 11 students achieved the top 25% certificates in the world;

- 11 students won AMC Australian Mathematics Competition awards, one of them won National Excellence Award, etc.

Michael先生带领的广州外国语学校爱莎文华IB国际课程也获得了不凡的成就，其中包括：

- BPA商业全能挑战赛中12名同学分别获得全国总分金奖和区域优胜奖，其中3人获全球第三名，系该课题组唯一中国队伍；

- 加拿大滑铁卢大学系列数学竞赛Cayley Contest 10 中,有11名学生拿到了全球前25%证书；

- 11名同学获得AMC澳大利亚数学竞赛奖项，其中1人获得全国卓越奖等等。
