On March 2 & 3, 2023, ISA Liwan received an email from the International Baccalaureate Organisation  that ISA Liwan has been approved as an IB PYP & IB MYP candidate school. 

2023年3月2日与同月3日，广州荔湾爱莎学校分别收到国际文凭组织（IB）发来的书面通知：荔湾爱莎学校已通过国际文凭组织审核，被批准正式成为IB PYP 与 IB MYP候选学校！

ISA Liwan is proud to announce that the school has received the official communication from the International Baccalaureate Organisation, to confirm that we have officially become a three programme IB candidate school to deliver the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). 

加之于2022年2月24日获得的IBDP (国际文凭大学预科项目)候选认证，荔湾爱莎学校在此隆重宣布：学校已正式成为三个项目的IB候选学校，为2-18岁的学生提供三大主要国际文凭项目。

IB PYP

The IB PYP curriculum is a student-centered approach to education for children aged 3-12. It focuses on developing children as well-rounded inquirers, both inside and outside the classroom, developing students' curiosity, creativity and reflective skills. It aims to promote the holistic development of the child, touching the heart and mind, and encompassing social, physical, and emotional needs as well as academic well-being, intercultural understanding, and fostering a lifelong love of learning in young students.

PYP (国际文凭幼小项目)是针对年龄3－12岁的学生设计的。它注重在课堂内外将孩子培养成为全面发展的探究者，发展学生的好奇心、创造力和反思能力，旨在促进孩子的整体发展，触及心灵和思想，并包括社会，身体，情感和文化需求以及学术福利，培养年轻的学生终身热爱学习的能力。

IB MYP

Building on the conceptual and inquiry-based learning of the PYP and better developing approaches to learning, community and service, integrated learning, multicultural understanding and communication skills, the MYP is a coherent, integrated and inclusive programme designed for students at the age of 11-16 (grades 6-10 in China). It provides a systemic framework for learning that encourages students to grow as creative, critical and reflective thinkers.

建立在PYP (国际文凭幼小项目)概念性及探究式学习基础上，并在学习方法、社区与服务、综合性学习、多元文化的理解以及交流能力方面得到更好的发展，MYP (国际文凭中学项目)是专为11至16岁年龄段（相当于中国的6－10年级）的学生设计的连贯一致、综合包容的中学课程。它提供一种学习的体系框架，鼓励学生成长为具有创造、批判和反思意识的思考者。

In order to become an IB candidacy school, Liwan school has met the rigorous requirements of being an international school set by the IB organization. This includes having a clear vision and mission that aligns with developing holistic learners and cultivating a global mindset. Being a candidate school, Liwan must provide high-quality physical spaces, resources including highly qualified teachers, and international standard facilities to deliver an international curriculum.

爱莎荔湾为成为国际文凭组织的候选学校一直在努力，目前学校已经满足国际文凭组织对国际学校的严格要求。其中包括有一个明确的愿景和使命，培养学生成为全面发展、自信、独立的终身学习者。作为一所候选学校，爱莎荔湾具备高标准地实施国际课程的条件，其中包括优质的校园设施和资源，以及高质量的教学团队。
