Sias International School offers a variety of international events for our students, including the recent World Math Day, which is one of the largest online global educational competitions in the world. The competition's aim is to enhance the mathematics skills of primary and middle school students in a fun and practical way.

Supported by UNICEF, World Math Day is held on the first Wednesday in March. With the support of Ms. Baker, our Media Specialist, the Sunshine Committee and homeroom teachers, students were able to compete with other students from around the world in an online math competition.

During the competition, students were given the option to choose their own level of difficulty, and the site automatically paired them with other students at the same level in real time. Throughout the two-day event, they engaged in multiple one-minute challenges, ultimately generating a great deal of enthusiasm and interest in mathematics through this exciting form of competition.

在比赛期间，学生可以选择自己的难度等级，网站会自动实时将他们与同级别的其他学生配对。在为期两天的活动中，他们进行了多次一分钟的挑战，最终通过这种激动人心的比赛形式，激发了人们对数学的极大热情和兴趣。

Through events like World Math Day and our new membership in the Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS), we are providing opportunities for our students to learn and compete with peers from around the world. This not only helps improve their academic skills, but also fosters a sense of global citizenship and understanding. We believe that by exposing our students to diverse cultures and perspectives, we can help them become compassionate and empathetic individuals who are equipped to succeed in an interconnected world.
